RKPATHAKon 23/07/2017 03:16A very good hotel nicely located on Durbar Road, near MG Road, Cochin. All basic needs and amenities are available in the hotel. Room tariff is optimum and within one's budget One banquet hall as also restaurant and committee rooms are available. Appearance is good but food quality not up to the mark considering the rates being charged by hotel.

GunjanSanghion 11/07/2017 05:53Went there for lunch...had the thali...was served on banana leaves...the lunch was a gastronomic delight!A pure vegetarian restaurant, the food was very fresh and tasty...the waiters were eager to serve and kept requesting us to eat some more!

Dhulevon 18/06/2017 19:10I have a lot of nostalgia about this grand old restaurant. I used to frequent the place in 1980s while I was stationed in Cochin (it was known during those less political days). One of the best known restaurant for spicy south indian thali. The usual Sambhar, Rasam, Curd, Papadam, cabbage and many more finished by half (the right quantity for me) a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The service is excellent. A few waiters are from Manipur. I was told that Kerala faces crunch of labour. That's why so many salesmen and waiter are from other states. Anyway, service is excellent. The restaurant serves white rice in dinner whereas there is choice between boiled rice and white rice. I had to settle for white rice as i had gone for dinner. Overall, a satisfactory experience in a legendary name.

cmahesh2117on 29/05/2017 07:17The Air-conditioned rooms are small and nor comfortable even though its costly. please ensure that you are choosing proper rooms. Food ( vegetarian only) will be good but little over priced for the location and ambience. Service is average and it can improve. FO staff needs customer orientation and not very friendly.

Pln Son 23/05/2017 08:38We had lunch in the restaurant and we are delighted with the hospitality and courtesy of the entire staff. I visited this hotel 20 years back and they improved in all aspects. Typical Kerala veg food​ is available and you will enjoy every dish.
