Senator64on 12/07/2017 04:25The worst accommodation I've ever stayed in.
The place is part finished, constructed over & around a builders merchant, invisible from the street. Rain leaks to every flat surface making the floors & stairs treacherous.
After the first night we woke to find ourselves with bites from what we thought to be mosquito, so sprayed the room with Baygon.
After the second night we had even more bites. The room was sprayed again.
This sequence continued but by then I was covered in over 50 bites & my wife 70+.
The room was infested with bed-bugs.
After an intense exchange with the childlike caretakers I was refunded half my booking fee & promptly moved to another hotel.
El Nido is a fantastic place to visit, our second time & we will return, but for potential guests, sincerely, DO NOT STAY IN BIG CREEK MANSION.
Money back is not a satisfactory option.
Does the job
markloftus44on 03/05/2017 12:48Good place to stay in El Nido. It's close to the action in the town but not right on top of things, you can walk the entire length of the town within 10-15 mins from here. We just used the room for sleeping and washing and were out every day and in the evenings. The bed was fine, AC was good, bathroom was a bit dirty and you had to hold the shower head over you but it was a warm shower which is a plus in El Nido. Wifi was poor but it is poor everywhere in the area. Staff are lovely and its cheap. Note: the entrance is weird and a bit confusing, it doesn't look like a hotel entrance but once you're there its fine.

Hotel staffs are very accommodating and friendly...
We arrived late in the evening yet the staff greeted us with a smile, they accompanied us in our room at the second floor. The room is spacious, bathroom is clean and big. I requested for a honeymoon bed, and gladly, they provide it.
They also let us use one room for us to take a shower after our tour.
Some part of the hotel is still under construction, but it didn't give us a problem...
Pretty rubbish
Megan Won 25/02/2017 05:04First of all to approach the hotel you have to walk through an alley with building work happening. There were times when I should have been wearing a hard hat.
The room itself had barely any natural light and smelt bad. Our bathroom had a leaking extractor fan which meant that it dripped on you whilst you sat on the toliet. It also dripped all over the floor meaning that the floor was always soaking.
The faux wood effect on the walls means that it's really hard to keep clean.
The staff were polite given the bad situation. When we asked to change room they said " you're lucky as someone has cancelled." No sir they are lucky they didn't have to stay at big creek.
great location
fletcvon 07/02/2017 11:13A lot is said about the building works, but we did not find this a problem, most people do tours during the day. They did our laundry cheaply, the room was very comfy, and they were always friendly. You get what you pay for, and this suited our needs fine.
