Madalena Pon 21/06/2017 13:55As a stopover we stayed for one night at Vaalsbroek and enjoyed an excellent three course meal. Staff is welcoming and courteous, the room spacious and the surroundings pleasant. It should be noted that the castle itself is used for events only. The bedrooms are in a separate building. I will return!

Michael Zon 11/06/2017 23:32There are sufficient and good restaurants in Vaals. We ate in Ristorante Pizzeria Mari e Monti. Friendly service; good quality and reasonable price. Restaurant Napolion is very romantic and quality food.
Buitenlust in Vijlen has a wonderful view from the restaurant, but, the food is not that special.
A great place to stay for a week-end out
destefagamon 18/04/2017 12:01The swimming pool was great for kids and the room was quiet and very spacious. A bit annoying that for breakfast we had to leave the building where we stayed overnight to reach the main castle and that most of the castle rooms were not accessible for guests.
Nice place and location
Hazel Son 31/03/2017 09:17My daughter and I went for a spa weekend the spa was ok as far as spa' s go but we were very disappointed with our treatments we were under the impression we had a 50 minute facial but it was 50 mins for us both together with 1 therapist.
The food was lovely on the evening however there was NO choice and even worse was the vegetarian option breakfast however was great which was also held in the castle with plenty of choices.
We also travelled by train from Amsterdam when we arrived in Vaals it was raining so we rang hotel to ask them to get a taxi as we had no idea where we were but the staff were most unhelpful and we ended up walking using Sat nav on our phones

Clean and spacious room, with a very nice bathroom. Good double bed.
Heat was not on and like in every Holland hotel not really warm. Even with the full heat stayed under 20* celsius( which seems normal to them).
