on 29/07/2017 10:55We stayed in for two nights middle July. We were warmly welcomed by Jane and Ian upon arrival.
The room we stayed in was priced well and spacious. It was also clean and had a lovely double window view of the deer park. Imagine waking up to see roaming deer!
The room was well organised, with an iPhone charger and wifi passwords easy to find.
The breakfast was great produce, well cooked and lots of!
The icing on the cake was Jane and Ian both shared a great interest in us which made us feel at home very quickly.
We will be back.
Amazing Kent Countryside Location
Jacqui Fon 25/07/2017 09:12We stayed here for one night and I don't think I have ever slept so well! It is a beautiful old Oast House with lovingly cared for gardens. Breakfast was a sociable occasion with other residents.....all of us enjoying home cooked food including fresh baked bread and kedgeree. Our room was opposite the deer park so we could watch the deer from our window. We had a huge separate bathroom which is just two steps across from the bedroom. You could watch the wildlife from the bathroom window. The hosts were very attentive and every time they saw us asked if we needed anything. We would definitely stay if ever we are in the area again. Thank you.
Just fantastic
Jane Pon 06/07/2017 20:45My sister and I spent four nights here in June. I don't usually stay in BandB but after this fantastic experience I may think again. We were made very welcome and felt so at home. The rooms are spacious and so comfortable with many lovely details. We just loved staying here and it will be very tempting to return. The breakfast is cooked to order nothing is too much trouble. Home made bread and jams, delicious bacon and a great choice. I was offered kippers one morning and I was so pleased I said yes. A huge thank you to our hosts this was a perfect four days.
Hidden in the Kentish lanes, but close to the main event
HelenK60on 05/07/2017 15:42Spent 4 nights, selected as it was 30 minutes from most of the sights we wanted. Surrounded by thickly wooded lanes, Jane and Iain were great hosts and Jane, a professional cook, turns on exceptional breakfasts (lucky us got her famous Kedgeree, and always dark orange eggs and plump local bacon). Access to sumptuously comfortable living areas and country garden. Our upstairs bedroom had heaps of storage so we could unpack, and a picture window overlooking next door's field where deer grazed. Great bed, very quiet. Good local Intel helped us sample local delights (White Lion at Tenterden, Tiny Teapot at Biddenden, eg). Canterbury 30 minutes, Sissinghurst 15 minutes, Brighton hour and a half ). Not cheap, but worth it.
A wonderful location from which to explore Kent
martin Gon 29/06/2017 21:22One of the best B and Bs I have stayed in. After a long journey, we received a great welcome from Jane and Iain followed by a superb evening meal. Jane is an excellent and passionate cook. No licence so we supplied our own wine. Comfortable room with views over a large garden and the adjacent deer park. Very convenient for exploring Kent with a number of National Trust properties and beaches within easy reach.
