Loved every bit of our stay here. Staff at reception and bar were extremely helpful and friendly. Quite a hole uphill from the beach and main shopping centre but cheap taxis are available everywhere so not much of a problem

Great little complex

Stayed for two weeks at Bitacora, all staff friendly and spotlessly clean, towels changed every couple of days, sheets changed once a week.
Its up two fairly steep hills, and was OK walking down, but challenging walking back up. you can get a taxi from the strip for under 4 euros however.
Downside was the issue of having to queue up from 8am to get a sun lounger, we received a fact sheet on arrival that stated ABSOLUTELY no reserving of sun beds, however this was not enforced & as a result if you went down to the pool after 8.30am all the sun loungers were gone.

Great base while I was in Lanzarote, close to just about everything, not far down the hill to the main strip. Small resort, ideal for us. Friendly staff too. Only down side is pool isn't heated but once the kids where in it was fine. value for money.

only real complaint is the location of the bathroom. You have to go into bedroom to access and this can be awkward if someone needs the toilet while someone is asleep. Otherwise all good. The prices are a little on the steep side.

steep hill to apartments

spent 2 weeks at the Bitacora. Apts are clean and tidy just wish they had emptied the bin in the bathroom more often. Nice pool area although not enough parasols and when it was windy they took them in and we had to keep asking for them to be brought back out. The hill to the apts. is very steep and some people got taxis back to save the walk.
