What People are saying

Enjoyed our stay here

annettemcfarlane on 11/10/2017 10:14

We had booked into another hotel and we were changed at the last minute to the BItez Garden Life. I was apprehensive but we were nicely surprised.
Food was good, and there are 3 pools including a quiet one which we liked. There was no entertainment as we were late in the season but it didn't deter us from enjoying.
The only down side was the room, very small and was never cleaned properly. The floor was never swept and the bathroom was never cleaned, we had to twice ask for proper size sheets to put on the bed as they just layed a single sheet on the double bed.
I know it was the end of the season, but the cleaning staff did let down what was a very nice holiday.

Super holiday once again

This is our 2nd visit to Bitez Garden Life and again it does not disappoint. From check in at 23:30 we had late dinner served to us which was very nice gesture from our friends Cevdet & Selman. We were meeting our Dutch friends Leon & Marleen from previous Turkish holidays and was nice to meet up again. The food here is of a very good standard much better than other hotels in Turkey I have visited. The beer is Tuborg and very nice.Cevdet has a very good team of staff & they all work well, very polite and always attend your needs. The rooms we have had on our two visits have been very nice and are cleaned well. The gardens are lovely and are kept well, with cleaning staff all working well to keep falling leaves, olives, etc swept up.The pools(3) are a bit cooler at this time but still nice to go in & cool down with temperatures in high 20’s.In general we would revisit here no problem, good food, good all round staff.Big thanks to Cevdet and Selman for an enjoyable holiday.

Returned for our fourth year running. We agreed with friends,Anne & Emily to meet again this year what a hoot.We had a great time yet again.Food was better than last year, friendly staff, clean rooms.Spoke to restaurant manager and raised small complaint,no rice pudding,5 minutes later he appeared with one, that is service and with a smile.Disappointed with entertainment, but coming to the end of the season,so we made our own.Met lots of lovely people which will remain friends.

Another good holiday!

This was our second holiday at the Bitez Garden Life and it did not disappoint. We were made to feel very welcome from booking in to checking out and we had the bonus of a late checkout (20 Euros).

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach with stunning views. There are bars and restaurants and a small amount of tourist shops selling `original fake designer handbags`.

All of the staff work very hard to give a good service, sometimes having to deal with rude (British) customers. The food was excellent every day, with a wide range of main meals, delicious salads and fresh fruit, and deserts The guys in the restaurant always had a big welcoming smile for us and kept the restaurant spotlessly clean. I will admit we did eat out on two occasions- `Full English` at the Sunset Bar ......delicious.

The guys behind the bars were friendly and we did not experience any queues. I will never understand why Brits think that SHOUTING in English will mean the poor guy behind the bar will understand better lol . The comments about the staff not speaking English makes me wonder how many Brits bother to learn any Turkish before they go....It is Turkey not the UK. If you want English speaking staff, maybe you should go to Blackpool......

There wasn't any entertainment in the hotel (except for the Turkish Night on Saturday) but as we made many new friends - of all nationalities, and caught up with some old friends -we made our own entertainment....... Plus there are bars a short walk away from the hotel with live music.

The gardens are well kept and are full of beautiful flowers, pomegranates , lemons and I think we saw some limes? There is the quiet pool if you fancy peace and quiet or the two main pools where there is music most of the day. The pools are well maintained and we did not have to fight over sun beds, there were plenty to go around.

We treated ourselves to the Turkish Bath and then had a course of massages over the 10 days, and I totally recommend you try this out. Have to say I had the best massages ever this holiday. Only concerns here - the Spa could do with a spring clean......

We had a good room with a view of the front of the hotel which worried me to begin with in case it was noisy, but once the balcony door was closed we could not hear anything. The air conditioning was of course a godsend, even this late in the season. The room service was excellent to begin with but did deteriorate over the 10 days, but that said, we did have a good supply of fresh water and loo rolls......

The weather was AMAZING and we have returned to the UK bronzed and relaxed. So a BIG THANK YOU to all the staff and we will see you all again next September. x

My home away from home, Earthquake :)

(Very long review but worth the read trust me!)

I am a 21 year old woman who was traveling with my mum. I visited the hotel from the 17th-24th of July on a last minute trip as we were in desperate need of a relaxing holiday after a stressful few months. I had expected that I would be treated as just another guest, as most hotel staff at other places I've been to seem to have approached me this way. What I did not expect, however, was to be welcomed into the hotel as though I was an old friend or a member of their family. All the staff were friendly and polite, so friendly in fact that I have even kept in contact with a good majority of them (Merhaba Adil, Musty, Eyup, Jimmy and Chef!) I have never been treated so well in my life, even in my own country. They treated me and my mum like genuine royalty, which really made our experience so much better.

But what really made my trip were my knights in shining armour; Adil and Jimmy. I think it was about the third day of our trip, we were on the beach drinking with some friends we'd made and some bar staff from another bar/hotel. Jimmy (waited tables in the food hall, has since left the to pursue other options) came to the beach to meet us after work and have a drink with us. shortly after, he called Adil (Main bartender, make friends with him he's so funny) and he joined us too. It was at roughly about 1.30 AM we experienced a fairly substantial earthquake (I genuinely thought we were being bombed, that's how bad it was. All the lights went out on the beach and in the bars it was terrifying; and because we were literally right on the beach we got the worst of it) Honestly without Adil and Jimmy I don't know what I would have done. All they cared about was keeping us safe. They comforted us and calmed us down, then took us to a safe area and sat us down (obviously we weren't allowed back into the hotel for safety reasons) Adil never left my side all morning with the exception of going back to the hotel to bring back water, pillows and blankets to make us more comfortable. We had to sleep in the car park outside our hotel and again, Adil never left my side until we were able to go back inside. After this, I was allowed to help clean up the hotel as I was so thankful for everything the boys had done for us. From that night onwards we were inseparable and its all thanks to their bravery and caring nature. The aftermath of the earthquake was quite bad, but all the staff worked together to quickly clean everything up.

The staff are honestly the best part of this hotel. If you are polite to them they will give you the earth. I will definitely be going back again next summer to see all my friends again.

Also Adil makes the best cocktails! And if you have kids they will absolutely adore him.

:) -Charlotte x

Ps: As I am writing this Adil is on a video call to me and he's telling me to write "Adil is the best" as my whole review.
