Wonderful facility & people – great food
Jim Hon 13/06/2017 17:59A new building that’s attractively decorated and which feels like home. The staff is attentive without being obtrusive – they anticipated our needs. We ate in the hotel’s restaurant and it’s truly at the level of a free-standing restaurant, several levels above “hotel food”.
Comfortable hotel with good food
mikeyp3on 16/05/2017 21:05The hotel is basic but comfortable with a good restaurant. It's a bit on the edge of Wetzlar so you will need taxis to head in to town or to the railway station. Wifi can be slow. Handy for the Leica Camera factory.
Forget the bar...
Din_don_davon 26/09/2016 22:01Hotel is clean and the staff ok,we were around 20 people totally during a meeting for our company and we spent one week here.
Breakfast ok also if the "refilling" is slow,in the morning,some people can't test some food or juices if they are "late".
Worst point for sure is the bar,unbelievable...to serve one beer can pass may be 30 minutes...never see this poor organization in my life,around the world...hotel ok but service not...

EastSussexToadon 06/05/2016 09:55This is the kind of great little hotel that we just don't have in the UK but the Germans do so well. Quiet location a little way out of town (20 mins walk), easy free parking, nice friendly welcome, nice rooms, very good breakfast.
Warm hospitality
RomKalderonon 20/02/2016 11:49I stayed in Hotel Blankenfeld on December 25-27 and on December 31 until January 3. The hotel is located in a pastoral area in Wetzlar. The hotel is small and warm. I got a room with a double bed that was comfy, the room was clean and the equipment was in good condition. The breakfast was very nice. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this hotel.
