Vicky Pon 17/07/2017 19:29The hotel has a lovely garden area and ample parking, the rooms are very spacious, very clean and tidy, the dining room and bar are lovely. The food was of a very high standard and well served by a dedicated team.
Breakfast was definitely a winner -superb!!!
Family recommendation!
Robert Kon 28/06/2017 23:23Was it as good as what family said?, yes first, we were up graded to a quirky four posted room, then assured we would have quick service for dinner as, we had an early evening appointment. Only had time for one course but, bream and ale pie were excellent.Breakfast every bit as good as grandson indicated, good choice of fruit, and freshly cooked mains.
As granddaughter is at school at Repton, hope to visit Blenheim House again to fully enjoy "old world hospitality".
Not for business Travellers
Thomashope13on 22/06/2017 15:08I booked this hotel via booking.com and six hours later my meeting was cancelled. I called the hotel and booking.com. The hotel stated that the full room amount of £76.50 was chargeable. They then sent me a VAT receipt on the day of the booking before check in time. On checking the hotel website they had many rooms available for that day so had not missed out on business due to my cancellation. 20 or so of my colleagues and I will be staying in this area on a regular basis. Short sighted inflexible approach has lost this business on a monthly basis
70th birthday celebrations.
Karen Bon 17/06/2017 22:10It was a lovely sunny day when we arrived to celebrate a 70th birthday. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was served promptly, was well presented and tastes beautiful! Lovely surroundings for a special occasion!
