Our room was fantastic, beautifully decorated with antique furniture and a very grand and very comfortable four poster bed topped off with great views over Bath. Breakfast was excellent, made with local produce (I had to visit Newton farm shop on the way home so I could fill my freezer with bacon!) and seemingly no limit to the hosts generosity or welcome. Only a 15 min walk to Bath city centre as well. Looking forward to my next visit.

Delightful Stay at Georgian House in Lovely Bath, England

Our room on the third floor was extremely comfortable with silk drawn curtains, a king-sized bed, an antique closet, and a carafe of delicious sherry to enjoy at the end of each day. We spent 8 days in this lovely home and felt pampered and completely at ease while we met our daughter's fiance's family in Bath. The inside-outside cats and dogs have wonderful personalities - friendly and happy to be petted and cuddled. Karen's breakfasts with a silver service are delicious, flexible, and naturally nutritious, and she allowed us access to the kitchen to make coffee before breakfast was served. The yard is beautiful with professionally maintained shrubs and trees, and there is a bus-stop at the top of the driveway, which was tremendously convenient since we were unwilling to rent a car. (Purchase a week's bus pass if you are going to stay that long - it is a great savings and convenience The #4 Weston bus goes right into town, and the #4 Odd Down bus will bring you back to Bloomfield House.) Our stay was relaxed, comfortable, and elegant. You will be very pleased to stay in this incredible historic home with these friendly and helpful hosts.

Nothing is lacking at Bloomfield House

We truly loved our Easter weekend at Bloomfield House! The decor is beautiful, the rooms elegant, the views superb, the breakfasts organic and delicious and the bed spectacular. However, all of the above are eclipsed by the warmth and generosity of Karen and Rob who made us feel like we were staying with friends. This is a unique place and we will be going back!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Bloomfield house. It is a lovely Georgian house owned by a charming couple, two gorgeous dogs and beautiful friendly cats. Our room had a view on the lovely garden and was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with good quality products. Hospitality at its best.
