Lucy Jon 13/07/2017 20:36I stayed at Hotel Blooming for two nights on 4 & 5 July while attending a business conference.
The hotel is nestled in woodland in northern Holland and is about 45mins North of Schiphol Airport. It's picturesque surroundings are perfect for those looking for a relaxing break with opportunities for walking and cycling.
The hotel's decor is modern with a quirky feel (taxidermy and insects in the bar; inspirational quotes on the walls, bathroom mirrors and restaurant). My room was on the ground floor and opened out onto decking and a lilypond. It was clean and spacious with two single beds. The bathroom was also spacious with a shower.
I was staying at Hotel Blooming for work purposes and found the conferencing facilities excellent. The rooms were large and had good amenities.
Food at Hotel Blooming was great. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was tasty and pleantyful. Lunch was also a buffet and had plenty of choice including two soups, two main dishes as well as a varied salad bar and fresh bread. The dinner menu was healthy and reasonably priced with a three course set meal option for €35 or a comparatively priced al a carte option.
In all this is a great hotel and I would highly recommend.
Lovely hotel wth nice resturant
MikeyAndHisTravelson 13/06/2017 16:42The hotel is set away from any roads within a woodlands area, it is very quiet and peaceful.
The hotel is very well kept, clean and tidy.
I had a single room, these days I find it strange to actually get a single bed, but that is the room type I booked. The room was spacious, the bed was big for a single, perhaps a little hard.
The bathroom was very small, too small as it was hard to use a towel after the shower, also the closet hanging space was very small.
My main issue was the head of the bed, the pillow wasn't wide and there is a small shelf at the head of the bed, during the night I moved off the pillow and hit my head on the shelf, it is a stupid design.

MikeAnthony2016on 12/03/2017 07:09Great place and setting, great rooms, food and drinks and great service! I visited blooming both for business as well as leisure purposes and I do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone! It lies in the forest close to the sea. Pretty spectacular!
Friendly staff and good service in a quiet place
Paul Hon 01/02/2017 17:59Stayed here for business and was received by friendly staff. The reception is fast and uncomplicated. Had a room with view to the water which was well equipped and clean. Be aware that thermostat can be set very low as in my case. Negative is the English tv channels. Bar prices are reasonable and has a good selection. Highlight are the good breakfast and i can recommend the massage.
The food in the restaurant is well prepared and ok atmosphere. The menu card is very limited but tast ok.
