Worse place I've stayed in a long time

This place is ridiculously overpriced for what you get - a dingy windowless room without facilities for $110. It was unbelievably noisy all night. People apparently taking drugs in the bathroom. It's in a great location but give it a miss unless you want to party all night.

This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in! The entire hostel is shabby. The rooms were unclean. There were mess from the previous visitors all over the room. The beds where fine. The locks to the room where tricky and almost impossible to open. The shower was broken and the WCs where discusting. There was a soap leak from a cabinet by the bathrooms which my friend slipped in and seriously incured her knee. Also, there was no locker where you could keep your important and expencive stuff safe.

Which brings me to this... One night we got a new person staying in our room. She walked in and turned on the lights in the middle of the night; clearly under the influence of DRUGS! She climbed up in several of beds yelling to the people sleeping. I was scared for my life!! She seemed so out of control that I couldn't fall asleep at all that night. I was holding my purse with my passport and my money all night. (I'm not saying a homeless or a drug addict are not entitled to a stay at a hostel, but it was seriously uncomfortable experience for me and it gives you the essence of this hostel as a whole.)

My only positive experience from this hostel was leaving it!

The title says it all. The hostel was comfortable and the woman who works on reception was friendly and welcoming. Overall, the rooms were nice. Granted the noise from the bar goes on until late but it wasn't too bad when I stayed.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my friends,staff were helpful and friendly,its good value for the money with Convenient location and cheap drinks would recommend anyone who want to stay around the city and save money

The staff are unfriendly. The rooms are tiny. There is no space (or lockers) to leave your bags. The hostel is shabby and matresses are old. There is a BAR on the balcony which is a huge reason for a majority of the noise that you have to put up with. Cigerette smoke wafted into the rooms off the balcony. There is no security to stop the bar patrons from coming into the hostels communal areas. Certainly not a place to stay if you want a good nights sleep or to feel safe. We tried to leave early so that we could find a more comfortably place to stay but there is also a NO REFUND policy. Obviously this has happens frequently.

This place was full of long termers who are living here permantly, they treat it as a student house rather than a public hostel. There was vomit in the bathrooms from the Bar patrons who you have to share the bathroom facilitys with. Very disappointing and uncomfortable stay.

On the positive side the location is excellent, and is at the centre of Adelaide
