All day fun for a 6yr old for $20!!

We have been here twice in the last year and I fell like it is the last of a great gem. I took my 6 yr old and she could ride everything! All the rides are kid friendly and the ride operators are very nice to the kiddos. Lines are short to non-existent. We paid $20 and played for the whole day. The place is kinda small but it's great for young families because you can see where you kids are and it's not so busy that you feel like someone might disappear. There are plenty of places to sit - bring a picnic lunch. The only negative is that the food takes FOREVER to come out - so bring your own or be prepared to wait a while. For the price, this place can't be beat - even by lakeside. This place has go-carts, zip line, roller coaster, merry-go-round, Ferris wheel, tea cups, tilt-a-whirl, paddle boats, bumper boats and more.

The shops, alpine slide and train are no longer active, but that's ok! There is plenty of other things to do.

Heritage Square Village Destroyed

The amusement park is still open but the new owners, Martin Marietta Materials has demolished the Victorian village, and the Alpine Slide is gone as well.

I didn't let the negative reviews ruin our trip. I got the unlimited pass for 4 on Groupon which included everything outside of zip line. There are go carts, mini golf, number boats, swan paddle boats and 5-8 carnival rides. The lines are so quick...that's a bonus! Our boys had a great time me and so did we. Yes, areas are fenced off, yes people litter, yes, it could be cleaner, but that's it's character. Not meant for kids over 10. Enjoy!

Great place for kids

While Heritage Square is a not what it used to be, the amusement rides are still fun for kids. My two grandkids, ages 7 and 8, love the rides here - especially the GoKarts and Zipline. The Ferris wheel is fun. It's much more doable than the huge amusement parks for grandparents with small kids.

I used to love this place. We brought our daughter here when she was little to enjoy the shops and restaurants and rides. We also have some wonderful memories of great car shows here. So sad to see it going away.
