Nice hotel in center ooty

Hotel is nice. Maintained decently.
Hotel has hot water Timings: morning, noon and evening. Timings are not kept that closely. Either water timing starts way to layt or it isn't there at all, or only after requesting.
The hotel is located in a central location near Ooty Market and Train stations.
For breakfest they serve a buffet with Indian food, there is water, hot water and Massala tea.
Room is being cleaned daily. The bathroom is small and the schower wettens every thing inside.
The room has a tv, and a small tea table. There is no in room safety deposit box.
The value for the money seem to be ok
Would use it again

Budget Hotel with basic amenities

Pros:
> Proximity to everything in Ooty
> Friendly serviceable staff
> Free Wi-fi that works most of the time
> Some rooms have a great view of the hills and the rest of Ooty.
> The hotel staff will provide an extra mattress if required.

Cons:
> There are significant differences between rooms of the same category - Some are carpeted, some aren't. Some are slightly larger in size than others. We were a family of 3 and felt very claustrophobic in the room we were given. See a few rooms before deciding on which to occupy.
> Mattresses (and even pillows) are hard as rock. The bed in the room I stayed (double-deluxe) was queen-size.
> Buffet meal items are repeated.
> Limited car parking space.
> Hot water available only at limited timings: 6-8 am, 12-1:30 pm, and 7-9 pm.

This is a budget hotel and staff are so friendly that most middle class guests often book rooms here in 3 bedded rooms and come with bigger families, there by it is fully crowded than it's original capacity, and only 1 lift has to meet such heavily crowded guests, and some guests and rude to other guests like us who are less in numbers as per room capacity, So of you are single or double then don't stay here , if you are big families then you can stay here,as staff are very cooperative and don't charge for extra money for extra persons with bigger families.

Good Hospitality Service with clean and tidy. And it is situated heart ooty. Walk-able distance for shopping and Botanical Garden. All staffs were helpful attending customer requirement on time. And is Economical for middle class people can affordable in season time.

Easy to Reach. Good for stay

We(4 adults -2 kids) had booked for couple of nights at this hotel for our family trip to Ooty. The hotel is within reach to rly station and bus stand and other tourist places.
Rooms are neat . Staff are much helpful. The food at restaurant is good. The hotel also arranged for a customized travel arrangements for local sightseeing. A small store is available at the hotel where you could buy things required in case you forgot or in need. If you are not so concerned about extra amenities and are in look for a good stay this hotel would do.
