I recently stayed at the Blue Moon Hotel at the recommendation of a family member.
The place is close to all of the action and reasonably priced. It is adult friendly and provide champagne among your arrival.
I stayed with a group of friends for a period of 3 days to celebrate a birthday. All was well until receiving the checkout receipts once we got home.
One room was charged an additional incorrect $80 another room was charged an incorrect $72 and a third room charged an incorrect $18. The charges were stated to come from multiple consumed/used items that consisted of alcohol, candy, wine and even a shaving kit.
However, each of the charges were in fact incorrect and should have not been charged. Upon receiving the bill we called to speak to a manager who stated that they could do nothing and we would need to speak to a different manager.
After speaking to the second manager, they stated an investigation was done and the charges were confirmed. We have a final call to discuss the charges with a third manager on Thursday.
It's really principal at this point and with my experience in Miami I never seen such poor customer service after the fact. There are really too many hotels and options such as AirBNB to not treat guests well over fees they are adamant are incorrect. I don't need to lie out M&Ms you claim were eaten or a shaving kit that would never be used.
I initially recommended this hotel to friends but will definitely be letting them know not to stay at this place.
Watch for the champagne when you arrive just to make sure they don't charge you for that.

The hotel was nice, clean and in a great location! The staff is amazing, very customer service oriented and happy! A special shout out to Victor at the front desk and Alfredo the bell boy, sweet as pie gentleman and one of the reasons I will be back! Making this my go-to hotel whenever I come to South Beach. My only con was maid service can clean a little better and be happy, like the rest of the staff, they were kind of grumpy whenever I saw them

We were on our honeymoon and had a fantastic stay at this fine property. Our check-in was absolutely wonderful. Chris at the front desk went above and beyond our expectations to make us feel welcome and to make our visit special!

We felt super at home at this place. Zorr the bartender was amazing, customer service & drinks were on point. The brunch on Sundays is amazing! Gaby & Yamila were super friendly and welcoming! Victor made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this place. Super convenient with location & amenities! Very zen👌🏼

Alfredo was amazing, very attentive to anything we needed. Also, the staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel itself was nice and clean. The rooms were small but you can't expect much bigger due to the space restrictions of Miami Beach.
