Nice view, friendly people, a few issues with our room but overall a good time

Our stay was through an RCI timeshare and our room have a great view from the balcony of the harbor/ water and the town. I enjoyed how close we were to the water.

A few issues I had include: 1) the original room they placed us in had construction right outside our door and no one told us we were just woken up our very first morning to loud drilling and banging at 7am, and the construction went literally all day. When we asked to be moved to another room one lady said that was fine and they there would be a room available the next morning - report to the reception at 10am. The next day at 10am we did and another lady was SO rude. She wanted us out of our old room but the new room was not ready. She wanted us to leave our bags, did not want to tell us a time when the new room would be ready (we kept getting "between now and 3pm"), and she would not even disclose to us where we would be going. She was very difficult to work with and did not seem to care at all that we were greatly inconvenienced (woke up early because we were asked to and then we were supposed to find somewhere to go for hours). Unacceptable. Luckily we went down to the pool to eat breakfast and when we returned there was another receptionist there would got us situated and into our new room within 10 minutes.

Overall critique of the property: Love that there are multiple dining options on the resort. Love the views. Love how friendly other guests are and that the property is close to a lot of things we wanted to do. The concierge was also very helpful in planning excursions and recommendations for dining(visit Rancho Latino for dinner!!). The rooms were nice but the bathrooms could use some repair and finishing around the bathtub, and our first room the tub backed up a little during showering which is another reason why we requested to be moved.

Also, loved Monday night Karaoke!! We made so many friend's that night (and it was our first night there lol). And between the bar and the pool bar you get 4 straight hours of Happy Hour!!

I would stay there again if the property made cosmetic adjustments to make some features more presentable (i.e. finish around the tub) and addressed tub plumbing issues.

Good central location

The resort is doing its best to take care of the units. It is clean and quiet. There are some of the tropical realities like some roaches outside, but that is expected in any tropical environment. The staff is very nice and the food at the pool bar is cheap and good. The fancy restaurant has very good food as well.If we would go to St Thomas again we would stay here, but not sure as this island is very busy and the driving is crazy

Our 25th anniversary trip was awesome!! Attractions came to the resort to share their offerings, so no special trips for us. Staff is super friendly and eager to assist. Food on site is wonderful, no matter where you eat. Bartenders are top notch. We will definitely visit again!

Loved our view

We had a second floor corner room. Room 159. It has an excellent view. We had no complaints about the hotel other than we had no housekeeping in 4 days. They told us about it but it ended up being more inconvenient than anticipated with the garbage mounting and the sand on the floor. Then they knocked on the door on the second night and told us they would be back the next day to clean (yay!) and never came back.
Please note, upon check-in we were initially told that we would have to switch rooms in the middle of our stay because the owner was coming into town and this is a timeshare (booked through Trip Advisor). They indicated the owners came into town on the weekend. It was a huge inconvenience for us as we were in town to attend a wedding and to be honest we were not happy about it but just went with the program. They ended up calling to tell us we would not have to move after all and we were relieved. I think they should probably tell people that before they booked their stay.
In terms of the interior of the room we were satisfied. My daughter slept on the fold-out couch with no complaints although I don't think an adult would be able to hack it. We were happy with the small kitchen area with large refrigerator and microwave. Grounds were clean, parking was convenient. There is a rooster chorus in the morning but our sliding doors kept the sound out. The hotel is located in town, that did not bother us as we had a rental car. Overall we had a good experience in would stay again.

My stay was amazing! This hotel is beautiful, has the best views to charlotte Amalie city & bay! Is locate at a cliff where you can feel a fresh sea breeze with tranquility and the view. The facilities are very clean and the pool area is perfect! also have Jacuzzi with a great panoramic view. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, excellent hot water, good a/c, t.v. , balcony ect. The staff was friendly and attentive. Is very close to the city but is better rent a car o call a taxy. I'm stay for 3 days and was fabulous!
