What People are saying

Nice Apartment Style Rooms

Mariahcat on 18/11/2017 21:37

A family member has a membership and offered us the option to stay here because we had tickets for a show in Vegas. We were there for a couple of weeks. The room was a single, which was fine for 2 people, and even though near the airport, it was quiet. There were all the appliances you could need, dishes, pots and pans and a dishwasher with detergent. Good idea to get a Safeway/Vons grocery store card. They deliver free and your first order was $20 off. Large queen bed, plenty of closet space, ironing board, large bathroom and a washer/dryer combo with detergent. It is a bit away from the strip and if you try to walk to the casinos it's like playing frogger to cross the wide streets. The shuttle is nice but limited stops. Everyone at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The concierge, Nadia, was AWESOME. Extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. A pleasure. She provided discount tickets to shows and gave us a discount ticket for Lyft. Much better and less expensive than a taxi. Got a rental the 2nd week to go to Reno and they did provide a parking pass. The ABC store is right next door and has lots of items, not super expensive. There's a Subway and pizza shop.

better rci / interval exchanges but more than adequate

I experienced the smaller one bedroom and while it had the essentials I would prefer to stay at Tahiti Village or Grandview. The lobby is busy and small; you do though get a few discounts at the shops- the 20% off at subway was great but the 15% off at the liquor store was useless at their inflated prices ( although their selection was greater than the ABC store). I also found the lack of a shuttle at 1 pm and again at 7 pm most annoying! Surely someone can be a substitute for the driver's lunch and dinner hours! Also does not start till 10 am and stops at 10 pm. Only goes as far as the Linq too. Need to add a few plastic glasses to each room for the pool deck. Nice touch to have the salt and pepper and two washing machine soaps.Very few activities. Deck is very noisy due to proximity to airport but fun to watch and the deck did offer two sunbathing beds. I have never seen any activity at the pool bar- when is it ever staffed? Plenty of towels though. They should identify the uber/lyft pick up areas at check in. My room was ready very early which is great until you hear the vacuum next door at 6 am as the crew does start when the room is vacated!

Great option if you don't mind being off the strip

We stayed here just because we were driving to Utah the next day and didn't want the hassle of driving on the strip. We have stayed at other Bluegreen resorts (we don't own a timeshare though) and as usual, you have the salespeople. If you can avoid them and don't mind being about 10 min off the strip, you should be fine. The pool area was super nice; the outdoor lounge area was as well. Room was large, very comfy bed, and nice to have the full kitchen and washer/dryer. There was an ABC store there to stock up on groceries if you want to hang out there. The airport was across the street but you can't hear the airplanes from the room.

Bluegreen Club 36 - Timeshare

DTracy on 09/11/2017 22:10

I went to Vegas this time on a deal through another hotel for a timeshare stay. What we got for the money we paid was okay, but not what I expected for Vegas and for a Timeshare.

We sat throught the timeshare schpeel and it was okay, but we knew we were not interested. They were not aggressive, which was what I was worried about, and thankful that they were not. They did give us our $150 US Mastercard for sitting through it and it paid for a couple of our dinners and lunches while we were there.

What myself and my friend didn't like about this place:
- It was way too far off the strip for two 55 year old women to walk to and from (they did offer shuttle, but it only ran 1 time an hour and stopped at 10 pm. we would take the shuttle to the strip and then have to cab it back later ... who finishes a day in vegas at 10pm?)
- There was no casino at the timeshare, we like to end up at our hotel after dinner and just play their slots before we head up to our room, this was not possible.
- The suite we stayed in was very small and "dated" compared to the owners suites and compared to other timeshare units I have stayed at in Vegas (JockeyClub was on strip and gorgeous).
- There wasn't a lot of choice of restaurants (pizza place, subway and a bagel rest)
- No maid service
- It was right next to the airport, you could 'feel' the planes coming in.

What we liked about the place:
- Pool and hot tub were both nice
- staff was friendly
- timeshare salesperson was very nice and not aggressive

Would I stay here again ... NO. But I was surprised at how many people bought during our sales pitch, at least 3 bells were rung.

Jewel in Downtown Vegas

This venue puts customer service up front. Arrived in Vegas after a 25 hour flight 5 hours before checkin in time and was given a room because it was ready. This does not happen often in hotels in the USA.
All the staff were happy friedly and help full. Room was big and had a kitchen, washing machine annd dryer- yahoo everything travellers need.
Look out the window and you can see plane past your window but you can not here them. Comfortable bed lots of pillows, as you can see I liked this place.
The only negative you may find is the location is a bus trip from the strip but there is a shuttle that we chose not to use dont mind walking or busing.
Will return to this location if we return to Vegas
