What People are saying
I can TOTALLY see why people like going there!
bigred65738on 06/07/2017 03:46What a delightful surprise.
We visited Myrtle Beach in June, as a graduation gift for our daughter.
Our super clean and spacious room, at The Seaglass Tower, was amazing, and the inland view felt like it was in all directions. The room came with a full kitchen including utensils, pots, pans, dishes, and even a blender.
Plus, they provided a free laundry room with several machines, for all guests.
Not only did we have immediate access to the beach, but also to the Boardwalk where there were all sorts of various gift shops and restaurants that served excellent food. Without a doubt, riding the Sky Wheel, a farris wheel a couple of doors down from our hotel, was one of the most relaxing things we did there.
Suffice it to say that, our time at the Seaglass Tower made for a very pleasant vacation.
That being said ...
The only two complaints deal with location. First, the noise was to excess, with the late night cruising and the carnival atmosphere . It's as if, somehow, there was a tiny remnant of spring break still going on. Also, all the new construction hammering starts at 7am. These things can't be helped. So we used an ambience/white noise app on our phones to drown it out. Also, the hotel provided a pair of earplugs. I can appreciate that.
Second, the boardwalk wasn't really conducive to young children. There was "some" drinking and I wouldn't recommend walking around there, alone, specifically at night. Hence my comment about spring break.
But, that being said, The Seaglass Tower felt comfortable, safe, relaxing, and welcoming. I would probably return with the Mrs. again in the future.
Great views and in the heart of Myrtle Beach
David Con 03/07/2017 21:00When it came to finding a place to watch the fireworks this 4th of July there was no place better than Seaglass Tower. Very nice, updated units. Great views of the water and the town. A lot of good restaurants on the boardwalk are within walking distance. They have thier own parking garage. The staff is great and I love the direct beach access. If you want the best seat in the house for the fireworks you have to stay at the SeaGlass.
Location,views & clean units
Nicholas Bon 12/06/2017 14:24Very nice & clean units in a great location! Probably my favorite thus far. Checking in was kind of a hassle. Check in at 4 and the shared parking lot you use to check in holds 13 spaces. Once you do get checked in it's a long wait to get on one of the 2 elevators. That's been the only pain we have had which is nothing really. I'd say check in a little later and avoid that hassle if you can.
Location is good
dh27534on 08/06/2017 02:27We have stayed at Sea Glass several times, we are BlueGreen timeshare owners. We have stayed at most of the other BG properties in MB, but like this one the most because of location. Walking distant to different restaurants.
This time we were staying in a street view deluxe for six nights on 3rd floor during spring break. During the weekend noise level was high but we did not have any problem sleeping and the activity on the street was entertaining. Being on the 3rd floor we use the stairs and did not have to wait for the elevators, that can be a long wait.
We were able to check in early and did not have any problems during our stay
What a trip this was!!!
ohioan_9on 23/05/2017 00:56My daughter and I stayed here for a week. The staff are great, the pool perfect, the view breathtaking. The property immaculate. Only drawback was one of the elevators was giving us a couple of days of shutdown We were on the 17th floor and the view was breathtaking. Located in an area that is central to great dining, shopping, and sightseeing.
