Sammy Hon 03/07/2017 00:46We booked a different hotel for tge Canada Day weekend, but arrived to find they'd given us a smoking room that was SO DISGUSTING! Scrambled to find another place and found the Bluewater. Needs some updating... But the owner was amazingly accommodating and friendly. The room was large and comfortable. Needed more towels but otherwise we were happy to have stumbled across this little place.

mattcoppell23on 22/09/2016 15:22I have stayed in Sarnia for work off and on for about 2 years. The Bluewater motel is one of the most clean and comfortable motels here. The rate is always great. The free WIFI is really fast and reliable. Will return for future trips.

roadtrippers2016on 24/07/2016 22:43We had reservations at Drawbridge Inn but after driving 3hours we were told at check in they don't accept Visa/Debit or Cash check ins. Scrambled to find an available place with a pool and ended up at BlueWater motel. Was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our stay there. Rooms are dated but they are very clean & efficient. I LOVED the deep bath tub & the kids loved the pool. Very quiet & had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Great location to any store we needed. We will definitely be staying here on all future trips to Sarnia.

merquisezon 27/07/2015 18:36First and foremost, I am not a fan of motels because of incidences I have encountered in the past. But, Sarnia hotels are extremely expensive for a small city. The reason is that there are not a wide variety of hotels, so they can charge whatever they want and people still pay it. So, we decided on the Bluewater Motel.
Yes, It is dated. Yes, the beds were extremely firm. But I would much prefer that to mysteriously saggy. But the main thing was that the room was very clean.
We had the kitchenette which had a full size fridge and gas stove and sink which were all spotlessly clean. the WIFI was free and worked well. The motel was very quiet.
The pool looked clean. I had absolutely no problem with water in the room. Hot and cold worked fine. I believe the man in charge of the motel has a very keen eye for any potential security issues. He was very pleasant and his wife ( I believe) was over the top when it came to be welcoming to the motel. If you want a clean and affordable place to stay in Sarnia and do not mind motels. I will recommend it.
