What People are saying

Super-friendly personnel, good location and great breakfast

ewerschristineon 30/04/2017 02:37

We went to Japan for the first time, and spoke no Japanese. On our arrival at the airport, we had trouble getting our rental car - nobody had mentioned to us that we needed an international drivers license or drivers license translation. After finally making it to the hotel (without car), we talked with the front desk, and they were tremendously helpful. We were able to obtain a translation of my German drivers license because of all the advice of the front desk, especially John. They also recommended great food, and places to see.
The breakfast was extensive, with rice, soup, fried fish, eggs, sausage, yogurt, salad, bread etc. The location was great too. In walking distance to the main attractions of Sapporo, such as the clock tower, Ramen Alley and Sapporo brewery (50 min walk).

We would definitely stay here again. Daniel and Christine from Germany and USA

Clean, Comfortable, and Quiet--but small--Room

ScandiScoton 13/02/2017 05:41

This hotel is located about a 10-minute walk south of the Susukino subway station, which is the second station south of the main Sapporo station. It's one stop north to Odori Station, which is right at the Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival). The double twin bed room was very cramped but clean and tidy. Plenty of power outlets for recharging electronic devices too. There are dozens of eating and drinking options in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel--as well as some rather unsavory bars of dubious character--the type with photos of young, scantily clad women on the entryway wall with deals like "all you can drink--3000 yen for 2 hours". So yeah. Although the hotel does offer breakfast (Western style, not included), we didn't eat there because 2500 yen per person seemed a bit excessive. There are many restaurants and cafes in the main Sapporo train station.

Sapporo snow festival

My partner and I stayed here for the Sapporo snow festival. The location of the hotel is great, situated in the red light district, there is easy access to food, shops, underground walk ways and subway. The area feels very safe and the hotel and staff were busy but very accommodating. The rooms are small and cosy but fit two people and the breakfast buffet is good and offers many options both western and asian.

Small double room is very small

Cheryl Lon 31/01/2017 03:22

We stayed for one night in December, unexpectedly, as our flight was cancelled due to the blizzard. Runway was closed and the airline told us to find our own accommodation. So we booked whatever we could find using a hotel app, and headed for Sapporo.

The hotel was about 10 minutes walk from Susukino station, through the bustling streets of Susukino.

Hotel staff was friendly. There was an English speaker who took care of us kindly.

We booked a small double room. The room was tiny. Luckily most of our luggages had been checked in, as there was no room for a suitcase.

The room was however clean and had adequate amenities. Perhaps it would be comfortable for one business traveller, but we had 2 adults and 2 small kids. It was quite a shock when we opened the door.

However, it was almost midnight and our kids were extremely tired from the airport delay. On that night where thousands of people were stranded, we were grateful they didn't turn us away.

Breakfast was included but closed at 9am. We missed it so could not comment on the quality. Perhaps it would be nicer to extend breakfast to 10am?

Pros:
Clean, simple hotel in busy areas of Susukino.
Staff is kind and helpful.

Cons:
Small double room is, indeed, small.
Breakfast ends too early

Conclusion: good for those who want to be in the middle of Susukino and don't plan to spend much time in the room.

Tip: check the room size when you book.

Nice hotel in good location

I stayed at this hotel with family for leisure. The hotel is located two subway stations away from Sapporo JR ststion, and is close to shopping areas. The room is quite small for some units, particularly on the 8th floor where my family stayed, booking by train as vel agents for a flight tickets and hotel package. Nonetheless, staff members are friendly and helpful. The facilities are quite new and well-equipped. Good air conditioning and bathroom, although it's not quite noise prrof. Very good high speed WiFi. Overall, it's a good deal for staying in Sapporo.
