We stayed here due to our house catching on fire. The older Caucasian women at the front was the best part of the stay( she was amazing) . Our key card kept shutting off, the owner was very rude and seemed annoyed of us coming back down about the keys. He wasn't very pleasant either . Overall I would book with the other 2 hotels in Bluffton before even check availability here. I work in the hotel industry and you can tell the management does not take the place serious.

Great Hotel

This was our 1st visit to this hotel and we were very pleased with the location, service and the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel. We chose this hotel because it was close to family that we were visiting and most importantly because it was pet friendly. We couldn't have asked for any nicer owners. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great relaxing stay.

Great place to stay

Room was clean, staff very friendly and accommodating...good continental breakfast which included make-it-yourself waffles, as well as doughnuts, cereals, and cinnamon rolls. Room rate was reasonable....I stayed two nights while in town to attend a class reunion....location is in the middle of town, a short drive to nearby shopping and fast food.

Second and Last Stay

This was our second time staying at this property. We booked it several months ago and stayed a week for business. Sadly, the property has gone downhill since our last trip. Our room was very dated and not clean at all. The bathroom wall had cracks in several places and big holes as well. The sink and the tub were also cracked. Water pressure in the shower was minimal because the diverter did not work properly and water came out of the faucet and the shower head at the same time. The carpet left our socks FILTHY! The bedding and towels were pretty clean, although the towels had staining.
The breakfast selections were average for a continental breakfast, but the coffee was AWFUL! It was at best brown colored water.
For the price of the room, next time we will stay down the road at a chain hotel with a better reputation!

Owners changed...and so did the cleanliness.

I'm very sorry to say that this location has gone downhill since the last time I was there. A brother/sister team used to own and manage it. Repairs weren't very professionally done but the rooms were always clean and the sister was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She would bend over backward to make sure that your stay there was satisfactory. The continental breakfast with the prior owner was ample, offering bagels, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, danish, donuts and your usual beverage choices.

We stayed overnight last week and I was not impressed at all with the way the rooms are cleaned now, or I should say how they aren't cleaned now. There was a bottle cap under the edge of one of the beds and some sort of cellophane wrapper behind the mini fridge. After seeing the bottle cap I made the mistake of looking under the bed and it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, maybe months. When I arrived back at my hotel room on day two, after the room had been "serviced", none of the garbage cans had been emptied, my ice bucket had not been emptied or the liner changed and the used plastic cups had not even been replaced. Seriously? These are basic parts of cleaning a hotel room.

This is the last time I will stay there. I'd rather spend more money and stay at a hotel in Ft. Wayne, even though it's further from my destination.
