Great , big, modern aparthotel

This is a lovely, imposing hotel situated outside of Bagnoles de L'orne and part of a complex. It is at the top of a (very!) steep hill, away from the spa and casino.

Our room was one of the Douglas suites so had a separate bedroom and lounge / diner / kitchen.

It is very modern so everything is in good nick. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and provided for so you genuinely can cook your own meal (and we did, there is a Casino supermarket a 15-20 minute walk away, again, up the hill... so drive there if you go!)

On site, there is loads to entertain the family. There is a teenager's breakout room which looked good and you can hire bikes. The real hook however is the spa style swimming pool packed with thalasso jets and even better, an entirely separate kids pool with 2 slides, water jets, toys etc. If you have a little one, it's ideal, and you can wear you luxury robe down there.

Minor grumbles would be the following;

The kitchen requires cleaning by you before you go, it's not included in the price. That's fine but they provide you with literally no cleaning products so you have to buy a kit for €4. I just left Dec catering accommodation to stop here in the way home so could easily have brought; I feel they could make this clearer.

The breakfast is so-so. Not bad but basic in terms of what they provide and good god the scrambled eggs were terrible!

Grumbles aside, this is a great, good value place to stay and perfect if you have smaller children needing some r&r from a trek across France.

Lovely Hotel

We stayed here as an overnight stop on our journey to the Vendee. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was clean and comfortable. The double sofa bed in the lounge was more comfortable than expected. Children loved the pool area, and Bonnie the Cow.

We did not eat dinner in the hotel but popped into town and had a little explore - what a beautiful place!

We hope to visit again one day!

We stayed in one of the apartments as a family of four for 3 nights. The 1 bed apartment is clean comfortable and has a lovely shower room and the kitchen facilities even include a dishwasher. We did not use the creche but the staff seemed friendly. The pool area is fab and there are no time restrictions on the children having access, which was good for us but I'm sure some couples may have appreciated a few dedicated adult only hours (or perhaps the option of family pool alongside the children's splash play area?) The restaurant was ok on the evening we dined there but we did prefer the restaurants in the town. The spa was lovely and has an array of treatments. I thought it good value for money as booking a treatment also gave access to the rest of the spa facilities. Wifi was great on 2/3 days. The fresh air from the short stroll down the hill into town was rejuvenating and the town is beautifully kept. I would definitely consider staying at the B O resort in the future and would recommend it to family and friends, particularly those looking for a restful break.

The place is lovely. Quiet and well run. Great facilities there. The pool is brilliant and we used it every day. Lots for young kids to do too. This was our second time going there and we will go back again.

It's a beautiful new building with a lot of apartments to rent. The reception staff were very helpful and polite,even calling ahead to see if we needed any help finding the venue. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The so was also great. In addition the location and lovely walk through the woods added an extra something special. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
