This hotel was hands down the worst place to stay. It was raining and poured inside... the floor we were on. Room we had was terrible musty smelling and bathroom needed cleaning... Sewer smell in room..Nothing worked. No internet and TV didn't work. Employees had no idea of surrounding ...couldn't help us.

Good budget hotel with magnatic view

I've stayed single night on 11th June 2017 when I was on the way to Dalhousie and noted following +points:
a) Location is very beautiful since it is in between snow covered mountains and Dharamshala city. Nearby places to visit is Sunset point and lake;
b) Staff is also good and helpful.

I enjoyed a lot and had leisure in this hotel. It's a budget hotel.

Bad Atitutde of the Manager/Owner

I have been travelled to so many places both on official as well as on personal trips (with family) but never experienced such unprofessional and rude attitude of Manager or Owner (Whoever was that). We booked two rooms and the first day when we arrived at the hotel they gave us rooms which was at the same floor but not adjacent to each other so when we requested to give us room together they said rooms are not available so you have to stay whatever is available for which we agreed. Next morning when we were leaving for our outing they said you have to change your room when we said we don't want to as we were settled in our respective rooms, they said no you have to as the other customer who came the next day were in a group and apparently booked two rooms with a kid (like we did), need two rooms together. We said you are informing us this when we about to leave and not able to change now but we politely said will do it in the evening once we are back, this is when we first encounter the ruthless and rudeness of the manager/owner - who bluntly said (abhi nahi kiya to evening mein bhi nahi hoga for which we said thik hai). Since we were staying for three nights we didn't want any disharmony and argument and left for are outing with a bad mood as it was spoiled before the day started. Second day they didn't clean one of the rooms, and third day they stopped the supply of hot water in our rooms where they knew we are with a small kid. We informed at the reception twice then somebody came but was not useful. Throughout our stay we felt like that we are staying for there free, although the other staff was fine but the attitude of the Owner was highly disappointed and unacceptable. We didn't want to raise any issue much as we had already paid advance to the hotel and didn't want any XYZ to spoil our family trip. This long feedback is not to rate the hotel, location, ambience or staff it is to point out one individuals behavior and attitude. I think that person needs to learn customer satisfaction which is one of the most integral and important part of the hotel industry. I know he will write ten things in reply to this post and will try to prove himself but sorry to say damage is already done....

Great place to stay

The hotel has clean, spacious and economical rooms, complemented with a wonderful staff, willing to do anything to help make your stay comfortable The food tastes like home,and will not burn a hole in your pocket.
The hotel itself is located away from the main road and the bustle that comes with it, but everything is within a 2-3km radius from the place. I would definitely recommend this to other travellers

We visited McLeodganj as a group of friends for a long weekend getaway and chose Bob's n Barley in Naddi Village for our stay.
The rooms were well maintained and the staff was really courteous. So even if there were minor issues in our stay, the staff made it up with their assistance.

So all in all we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend this place.
