Good stop over in Bodega Bay
Pete_mc_50on 11/03/2017 20:21There's been a few sniffy reviews of the inn but we found not bad at all. Firstly the rooms we saw were decorated to high standard and the bed was excellent. The inn had a main building and a second property in the back. We stayed in the rear building room 14 with its own balcony and was lovely and peaceful. The carpet is fine . Hot water was an on demand system which worked fine. Liked the communal kitchen. No breakfast provided ...Big deal ..Not. Evan and Mrs Evan were the nicest welcoming couple you could ask for and went out if the way to help. I would happily stay again

mtjb70on 23/02/2017 01:39We got stuck in Reno due to snow. I called and tried to cancel our reservation the owner refused to refund our money. I was supposed to cancel on or before February 4th but didn't no we would be snowed in until the 6th, Our friends who were traveling with us were able to cancel there reservation (also nonrefundable) thru Best western with no hassle.

No breakfast is included but there is a fridge in the room and there is a separat breakfastroom/readingroom were it is perfect to eat.
Quiet surrounding.
Bodega Bay Inn is worth a stay and Bodega Bay a visit!

Helion328on 27/11/2016 21:38The first thing I noticed as I walked up to the Bodega Bay Inn was the lack of curb appeal. The garden is overgrown and unappealing and the exterior of the Inn could use a paint job. As you enter there's a musty smell to the place that I couldn't identify. We stayed in Room 4, just off the entrance which again smelled musty and moldy. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean but I never set foot on the carpet without shoes. The floor was creaky and soft in spots. It is less expensive than other places in Bodega Bay and now I know why. You get what you pay for. Would never stay here again. Yuck!

Susan Gon 14/11/2016 02:07Previous reviews did not do justice to this hotel. The paved entrance leading to the hotel looked like it hadn't been swept for a month. The carpets were stained, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and there were long hairs evident throughout the room. Would never go back. Very pricey for the quality.
