Spacious rooms; comfortable stay - worth the price

With very calm surroundings, this resort is approx. 15 mins drive from the airport. This resort is located right at the beachfront (though the beach area is not a private one). You can find a few shacks as soon as you step from the hotel tot he beach area.
The check-in process was pretty smooth for me, and hardly took more than a couple of minutes. The staff is friendly, and even offered me an umbrella when I wanted to step out while it was raining. The lobby area is very spacious, and gives a grand feeling as soon as you enter. The elevators are pretty small, and slow.


Rooms: It seems that all the rooms face the beach ! The rooms are pretty spacious for two people, and offer a balcony which gives you a view of the beach. It looks like the hotel was built quite some time back, but the rooms have been continually renovated so as to offer the latest amenities. There are a couple of sofa-chairs, but they look slightly old *even though they are in perfect condition); also, I could not make the temperature-control system work. `I hope that the room locks also get changed soon.

Restaurant: Located at the ground floor, the restaurant is open till 10.30 PM for breakfast. While the options available in this restaurant are good, I would have wanted the taste to be better; during the breakfast, if you want to order anything from the live kitchen, do it in advance - else, you'll need to wait for quite some time. I wish there were better chefs so that I would have wanted to eat at the restaurant more frequently.

Excellent on the beach location that's very difficult to find. Excellent lunch and dinner buffets and well organised banqueting facilities. We had organised a conference here and the entire team at the resort worked hard to ensure things went off smoothly.

The Chef provided some very nice suggestions on the buffet menu setup and it was served timely and the food was excellent. Specific requests were also handled with a smile. 👍

The rooms are spacious and the property has a quaint old world charm.

Old colonial building which needs a serious make up , has a excellent water front presence and is thebone and only one beach hotel which allowed us to stay on floor 5 th this is the only hotel which has more then 5 floors in Goa as far as I know on the beach, the rooms have a direct Arabian sea view , cleanliness is mediocre . The toilets crevises are not clean and they are not hygeinic . The cleanliness needs to be spurced up . The restaurants gamble between a open on the sea restaurant and one a closed restaurant which is Palmera . We witnessed indian independence here and what a thoughtful treat we got the entire nation in the menu the food had punches from 29 states and none of the Indian cuisines were repeated in any form . The food was bang on value for money we were surprised to see food from as far as Nagaland the servers explained us that the chef was new at the hotel and had set the menu . Even the salads were well thought and hand picked the service was epic I saw the reception people working closely to serve us which was a unique point and none other hotels I have seen such a wonderful team work.we will visit soon in month of November and experience the challets as this time they were closed due to rains we suppose !!

Stayed in the hotel for three days on a work trip. Recharged my batteries big time. Gracious staff on the whole, sweet Konkani culture and tourist friendly atmosphere evident in all corners of the place.

Rooms are comfy with old world fittings that fit! Lovely balconies out to the deliciously roaring Arabian Sea.
Buffet meals have all the basics with the local flavour- boiled rice to accompany the fish curry would have been nice.
Spa was inviting and invigorating. Money well spent. Poolside experience good with sea backdrop for the photo shoot.
Room service, laundry, housekeeping and front desk efficiently professional and friendly. Bar experience good in lounge area with local culture on display every evening.
Place to revisit and stay if headed back again.

We travelled to goa and for a break this time we selected bogmallo beach resort hotel . The hotel is in the water !!! And I. Confident no other hotel is gifted with such a wonderful location. They have a great restaurant and food here is excellent . We have travelled all of goa in past 15 years belonging to marwadi rajasthani community it becomes very difficult to find vegetarian and good quality of food . We were absolutely stunned with the quality of food served at this corner of goa . The food has a different scale and variety. Which we loved . The reception team is been a gem specially ms madhura, rita .t , and all the managers in reception . Rains spoiled our program to venture but it was indeed pocket full of miracle !! The head chef personally treated us with vegetarian meal which cannot be forgotten for long . Except to some glitches on elevator rest all was well done
