What People are saying

Lovely with just a few drawbacks

May Gon 30/06/2017 01:41

The place in itself is lovely. The rooms are spacious and everything in the resort was quite beautiful and serene. It was clean and well maintained. Most of their staff are nice and approachable but few are just too busy on their cellphones to really attend to you but overall, they're very helpful and nice.

You can easily find the place if you tell the tricycle driver at the jetty port that you're going to Habagat Kite Village in Bulabog Beach which costs P150 per trip, which takes about 15-20mins. If you want to go to the main areas of the island where all the fan fare happens, you can hail motorbike taxis that take you to D'mall for only P20 each. Another trip you can make and be sure to see is Puka Beach by hiring a tricycle for P150 per trip from D'mall or from the resort itself.

Our main concern though is that there was a CCTV camera installed by the adjacent property right outside the bathroom window which was both odd and unsettling. I know it's for the security of their property but its positioning is definitely an invasion of privacy. I hope they find a way to fix that.

The resort's location is perfect for anyone who would want something less crowded and less noisy which was what I wanted but this also comes with a price. The beach when we were there was littered with plastic, broken bottles and whatever else could be thrown into the water or sand. I know this is not the resort's fault. The local government should put as much attention to this beach just as they would in White Beach. More importantly, the very residents of Boracay should care for their own better.

Comfortable and quite place

The rooms are large and clean. The bed is comfortable, air conditioner is modern and amazingly quite.
The staff and owner are very friendly and ready to help or give advise what to do.
As you could see on map, the location is not central and it'll take 15 minutes to get to Station 2 on White beach, but if you want try kite-surfing - it's great. They also have their own kite-school on the territory.
The hotel's cafe had tasty dishes. I really enjoyed cheeseburgers there.
Depending on your room's floor you could get a great sea view.
The only cons for me was the absence of fast WiFi, but it's easy to fix I think.

Fantastic - Highly recommended

Excellent all round! We really enjoyed our stay at Aissatou Beach Resort, will definitely go back! Staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Location was perfect for us. Only a 10min walk to the busy white beach, nice to be able to escape the crowds and chill out on the quiet/peaceful side of the beach.

Worth the stay

We stayed here because me and my companion was interested on what is like staying at the other side of Boracay. Bulabog beach is a windy area good for wind surfing and wake board.
Employees of this hotel were very hospitable. I commend the receptionist miss anna for being the most accommodating staff I've ever met. She helped us on a lot of things such as contacting our travel agency, transportation and stuff.
During our stay, they also provided us with a travel guide book and discount coupons for our bora escaped.
All in all, our experience here was awesome because of the warm welcome the employees had given to their guests.
I highly recommend this place to people who are into water sports and also a quiet night away from the three stations.

Where time stands still. Go back in time to feel how Boracay must have looked like

We spent our first few days on the White Beach in Boracay and I kept on thinking what it must have looked like before the plane-loads of tourists invaded the island and turned it into a beach front shopping mall. When, after a few days, we moved to the Bulabog side, I understood. Located at the end of the Bulabog beach, its peaceful, quiet and very friendly place. The building reminded me of the early investments in the 90ties and everyone is enjoying life as if the time stood still. Definately worth it
