Shady hotel
Laineystaron 30/07/2017 11:25Look for another place to stay. This place has no ambiance. Ratty and smelly towels. Dirty bedsheets and pillows. Icky bathroom. Breakfast at La Carmela de Boracay's not worth the upgrade to buffet...
Don't go there..... You will be eaten alive.....
Keith Son 29/07/2017 04:46If you like dark places and mosquitoes eating you alive then this is the place for you.... However for normal people don't bother, it looks good on the internet but it's not, I had to pay in full in advance, when you get there you find there are not refunds available if you check out early, that's your problem. They also present you with a list of house rules that you basically have to agree to and they want a further 2000 PSP deposit, (as if anyone would run off with their towels that are like cardboard). The breakfast is served at the other hotel and was always cold which is more than could be said for the ac, it was terrible, so noisy I couldn't sleep, when I finally did get to sleep the Mosquitos set to work..... The bathroom was functional, and that's about all I can say about that. Ohh did I mention the mosquitoes, you are never on your own at this place....
Don't be fooled by the name sounding familiar if your from the western world, this is nothing like a bad Travelodge, let alone a good one, In terms of a star rating this would rate on the negative scale. The walkway at the front was flooded resulting in either a balancing act on temporary raised pathways or getting wet,
Overal a terrible experience that completely spoiled my experience of Boracay
Nice and relaxing place.
Erika Von 22/06/2017 12:31No wifi in the hotel but if you want low cost of accomodation i recommend travel lodge hotel. Its near in the beach and also you can use the facilities of la carmela de boracay located in station 2 infroht of beach.
Good job Travelodge
raymartt13ueon 16/06/2017 02:33Excellent service, low price, good rooms and location, but needs to walk going to La Carmela for the breakfast. I hope someday the breakfast will be serve in the room. Thank you Boracay Travelodge Beach Resort.......
First time visit to Boracay
Mae mon 14/06/2017 04:04I was disappointed, the place is very old, looks dirty and the lobby is very dark. I was very disappointed as I got my booking from a cousin in which I would have expected a better place. Our room has so many mosquitoes, no wifi, no coffee, the free breakfast on another resort which was way better and nicer. The air con barely blew cold air. The location is in an alley towards the beach, poor location, view from our room are damaged buildings, construction...just plain ugly. I was expecting a relaxing experience since the name says Travelodge Beach Resort. There were no amenities that resorts offer! They should change the name to Motel. I took my family 11 hours to get to Boracay, tires and hungry only to find the place was not what we expected.
I do have good things to say like clean restroom/showers and you can deposit/leave your luggage with the security guard if you checked but want to walk around Boracay.
If you're in a tight budget, just want to experience the nice Boracay beach and just need a place to sleep and shower this is the place.
My recommendation for taking a vacation in Boracay, your travel agent should give you all the info:
Airport: Catiklan (better and closer) or Kalibo (2 hours away to Boracay)
Hotel or resort: get the hotel info like beach front, star rating, etc
Amenities of the hotel
I usually get all these infos when I search hotels myself but since my cousin is a travel agent I trusted her and expected she'll find me a nice place to have a vacation. I've learned my lesson.
