Economy rooms are not always on the second floor
Laura Son 19/04/2017 23:45Regular rooms are fine at this hotel, however. NEVER and I mean NEVER book the economy rooms. They have an apartment on the second floor in a separate building, but if you are the unlucky couple to get the attic room you will be walking a third floor on attic stairs without a banister all the way up. When I say attic I mean attic, the ceiling is exposed to the roof. I love ambiance, but this is just an attic with an exposed roof.
The regular rooms are fine and in another building all on the main floor. The hotel is very well situated near the vatican and not far from the metro (10 minute walk). SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BOOK. The staff is friendly.
Lovely little hotel in Vatican State
Hessu_FINon 26/09/2016 08:15The staff is very friendly and does everything to make you feel like home. We got the "room in the addict" and it was very fitting to the stay in Rome. The building is build somewhere between 1600-1700 and it is quite fitting. The location is nice and quiet.
The room had a washing machine in it and downstairs there is a living area with kitchen.
Only thing to keep in mind is the second door to the hotel. It has quite a lock and it is not so easy to operate. The next quest that came after us didn´t know how to open its and we had to get up and open the door for her.

Small boutique hotel with a delightful helpful staff, Federica helped to arrange a taxi to the airport, and to try and get boarding passes for us.
The rooms are crisp and clean, the bathroom large with a rain shower. The room windows are on the ceiling, and have a sliding curtain to darken if needed.
The breakfast is a typical meat, cheese, juice, pastries and great coffee--nice start to the day.
The location is 2 blocks from St Peter's square and there are small shops and restaurants all around the hotel and on Borgo Pio street.
We are very happy with our hotel choice and would book here again if we find ourselves back in Rome.

Eleanor Mon 15/06/2016 11:24Excellent location. Well maintained. Very nice friendly staff. Continental breakfast. Just two minute walk to St Peters square. Lots of eating places surrounding..Metro 10. Would use anytime I'm in Rome.
Great Hotel!
Mary Don 04/06/2016 19:16Our group of 7 took up three of the six rooms at this boutique hotel. It was super clean, in great location, and we felt completely at home. The staff went out of their way to provide breakfast at an hour that suited our early tours and also helped when one of our party lost their passport. If you wish to stay close to the Vatican, I highly recommend this hotel. The metro is a short walk, maybe 15 minutes away. Highly recommend!
