ANGELAHOLon 05/11/2015 12:47This is a charming b & b on the edge of a quiet village with lovely views. The bedrooms have been done up provincial style, each with character and shower rooms are small but have all you need. The owners are attentive and helpful. Breakfast is fairly basic but cheered up with some home-made jams. There is a small garden and pool overlooking the hills and valleys beyond. The only thing which ever disturbs the peace is the sound of footsteps on the stairs. Like all Italian tiled floors, sound carries.
Charming and relaxing B&B
Katie Bon 27/05/2015 08:24Borgo Tepolini is one of the most charming B&B in which we have stayed. The owners live upstairs and are extremely nice. The property has four guest rooms and is located on top of a hill slightly outside of Castel del Piano which means that you are very close to the city but just far enough to have a very relaxing and quiet stay.
The room was adorable and the bed was very comfortable. The building is old but very clean and well maintained. Since it is an old establishment you have to turn the shower nob four of five times around to get hot water in the shower but they have hot water which is the essential. If you are looking for all the latest modern amenities this is not the place for you but if charm and cozyness is your thing you will love it.
They offer a very basic Italian breakfast which is tea/coffee, bread and some kind of pastry every morning. They have a table on the entrance level where all the guests sit together for breakfast which is super cute.
When it comes to weather, the area seems to be getting its fair share of rain so be prepared.
If you bring your bike, they have a place outside to store them safely which is really nice. The cycling around there isn't for the casual rider because it is very hilly.
Peace and relax in Tuscany

The hosts made us at home. Montalcino and Pienza are very close by.
A place to definitely recommend to people willing to live the real Tuscany.
Except for climate they think to everything
gille45_12on 09/05/2014 18:03to make you comfortable. We stayed two days with two other couples of friends. We also got fairly good weather but you can not relay on them for that. Home made jams, cakes honey home made bread... brekfast delicious
Enchanting in winter
gabynaon 10/02/2013 18:27This was my second time here.although it is always special I recommend coming in winter, not only in the summer. It's a unique experience with the bare branches of the trees.you can literally see for miles.it's so quiet,the room is cozy and antonio and pino are perfect hosts.we had dinner on the premises this time. Excellent meal in good company. We are coming back in spring.
