We ate beefsteak with vegetables, vienna steak and green tagliatelle with shrimps.. Everything was incredibly tasty and the atmosphere on the terrace is really beautiful.... See view on Lumbarda narina.... Excellent
Idyllic little seaside village
mybeautifulworld2017on 04/04/2017 15:16Away from the main part of the island you will find this little hotel. Unfortunately none of the rooms faced the sea (or if they did I did not find them) but this was an absolute gem. The rooms are very basic but clean - there are laundry options if you need as well as WiFi (in the main lobby / restaurant area). make sure you walk through the little village to the beach hidden away on the other side of the vineyards. It took us a while to find it but any of the locals could share the directions. Visit Papnat for a walk through the olive groves - not a strenuous walk but you walk on little stones so you need good footwear.
Clean, very basic, spartan
akd94on 07/09/2016 17:55It's a blast of orange and brown, furnished by MFI / Ikea.
The room we had is small, functional and spartan. The beds are hard and the pillows just about ok; after busy days walking we fell asleep easily despite the bed. You pretty much have you make your own bed - there's a bottom sheet already on the bed so you have to add the top sheet and duvet (supplied).
The bathroom is clean. The shower cubicle is small and one day there hot water ran out. The towels could do with some fabric conditioner!
There is a nice pool area with an infinity pool and some sunbeds, overlooking the harbour.
You cannot fault the location, apart from the fact there is a steepish path up from the main road and quite a lot of steps up to reception, and no lift. The hotel is really basic, but we spent very little ime in the hotel because we were out and about each day. There is a small mini-mart next door and a good pizza-grill by the entrance.
Great spot to relax
Lynda Bon 05/09/2016 14:17We'd read some rather negative reviews on this hotel, but couldn't really find much to complain about ourselves. The only negative was that the Reception is reached via steps and we then had to climb 3 more flights of stairs inside to reach our room as there was no lift. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here: the room was clean and well equipped; the choice at breakfast was extensive - sitting on an outside table was lovely with views of the harbour and the food of good quality; the swimming pool was fine and every evening a different cocktail was on offer at half price (25 Kunas ie just over £3). Staff were pleasant and helpful - a good stay! A bonus was that there was a brilliant ice cream place just on the street by the Hotel - delicious!
Fantastic hotel & location
bexburneton 26/07/2016 16:01We had a great room with balcony and a lovely view, very clean, spacious and air conditioned. The staff in the hotel were fabulous, especially Lelija, Anna & Drazen. They were very helpful and we really enjoyed the special cocktail of the day. The pool was very clean and we always got a sunbed, even though we were there in July for 10 days.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly go back there.
