Great location
cclaver1on 22/06/2017 12:10The hotel provides a very good jump off point to the city. The T-Station (Kenmore) is about two minutes walk. There are good morning offerings from Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, 7-Eleven, and other breakfast places. Fenway is close by too! There are great pubs within easy walking distance. The property is a classic property with historic interest. We happened to stay in the very room where the 1919 Black Sox scandal was hatched (room 615)...with a great view of Fenway and the city. The hotel is not going to wow you but it is clean and well maintained...it's historic

I'd stay here again
wormthreaderguyon 18/06/2017 23:01We stayed here visiting family for a wedding in another part of town. While this isn't in the heart of downtown it is close enough. Only a half block from a subway stop so you can go anywhere you want. If you are in Boston for a baseball game this is totally the place to stay. On a windy day you might be able to spit onto the field (small exaggeration). But seriously while I couldn't see the field I could on the other hand see seats, it is that close.
Customer service is very good. I called from the airport to see if the hotel had a shuttle (it doesn't) but the guy at the desk gave me detailed instructions on how to use the T to get there. We also used the T to get back to the airport and to go to Fannuel Hall and all the other downtown attractions.
I would have given this property five stars but we got terrible service for breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Not a deal breaker for us, but we won't try eating there again.
All in all a positive experience and I will likely stay there again and take in a Red Sox game.

Lynne Bon 14/06/2017 18:40I took my grandson to see a game at Fenway for his 18th birthday. This was the perfect place for us to stay. The hotel is old and full of amazing history. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and well informed. Thanks to Martin, Steven and Olivier we had a wonderful stay. The location and the view of Fenway just can't be beat.

LU Con 07/06/2017 05:06considering the price, the room quality, and the convenience of temporary staying Boston, I highly recommend the Buck Minister hotel. Stay in Buck Minister, you can not only walk to fenway park easily, but also to Boston University, and harvard medical school. also if you were 3C geek, it only takes you 15mins walk to Microcenter. But, remember to make online reservation from tripadvisor, which help you get a fair (mostly amazing ) price, lol
