Great location
traveler222Irvineon 06/08/2017 08:19This hotel offers a great location as it is next door to Quincy Market with restaurants, shops, eateries, and street musicians. This is a central location for day or evening activity. The hotel is on the wharf and offers great views of the water, ships, city views. The Trolley ticket office and tourist stop is right in front of the hotel. All of that makes it a great hotel for tourist. I was here as a business traveler and was a bit overwhelmed by the crowds. However, their excitement is contagious and made me wish I had time to enjoy this wonderful city. I'm afraid the hotel is in need of a renovation. Because of the great location, it is able to command high rates.
Hot humid rooms
on 02/08/2017 21:25A lovely location beautiful views of the harbor. However first room had no circulation smelled musty and the air conditioner was locked at a low temperature and was useless. Room quickly heated up to 80. Window would not open. Complained and was told they have problems with that end of the building moved to a higher floor which was somewhat better but again uncomfortable by morning for two adults. In this room there was a bathroom fan and a window that opened but had no screen. again the temperature stayed over 75 and "felt close" I would not expect this from a 400 to 800 dollar a night hotel. Disappointed
Average, but great location would make it worthwhile.
YankLivingInWokingon 02/08/2017 13:51I almost feel guilty with giving just an average rating, as I had a great time and nothing went wrong. I stayed for 4 nights while there on business. The service from the staff was very good and the location was excellent. Right on the waterfront, good for getting to touristy or business sites, with good restaurants nearby. The reason I have put average is that the rooms are quite basic. It was ok for a Marriott, but the prices would indicate that it would be on the higher side of Marriott. I've stayed at the Marriott in Times Square recently and although that has higher rates (as you'd expect in a big city) the quality more closely matches what you'd hope for. This room could be from a lower brand and seems to charge more purely due to location. I would not recommend against this hotel, primarily due to the location, but don't get your hopes up.
Beautiful Harbor View
KateTnycon 02/08/2017 02:24Great hotel in a great location. Room was a decent size for Boston. Concierge Lounge was small but adequate. It never really got too packed. Food was good and varied in the Evening.
Pool was chilly and the hot tub has been covered up for good. So sad.
Overall, great hotel near Quincy Market.
Great Place Great Location
prep33grlon 01/08/2017 19:52We just stayed here this weekend and all I can say is WOW!! The location right on the harbor to the point of everything being walkable around the hotel. You pull up and there is valet parking $55/night with in and out privileges. The bellman were so nice as well. You come in and there is a huge escalator with big chandeliers. Go up those to get to check in. Everyone at the front desk was very professional. The rooms were clean and the hotel itself are stunning. You can easily walk to Quincey Market, Boston Public Market, and Little Italy. The Aquarium is right next door to the hotel and all the ferries to the islands. There are many pedestrian walkable spots. There is a beautiful carousel outside to the right. Food trucks are parked are up and to the left. You just cannot go wrong! We will be back again with our kids.
