Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in
travellr1on 26/06/2017 12:49I have traveled extensively throughout Asia but this was my first trip to Philippines. Hotel was booked by a friend. Great size room but that's where the positives ended. Beds were 2 singles and very very soft. The bathroom was dirty and toilet blocked when we used it. Extremely old lounge chairs with no support. We checked out early so didnt try the breakfast. Apon checkout we were charged the equivalent of $80 Aus for a bed sheet they claimed had a stain on it. 2 of us slept in the single bed for only 2 hours. I check everything prior to leaving the room and definately no stains. Sadly this hotel I would not recommend to anyone

John Mon 15/06/2017 07:53I / we have stayed here several times over recent years, chosen primarily for its location. They offer two room tarriffs if you want to pay extra for a recently re-furbished room, or standard rate for yet to be re-furbished room. We particularly choose a corner suite in order to have the pretty spectacular views of manila bay, we enjoy the small kitchenette which allows for tea/coffee making and the full-size frifge freezer. only issue is only one a/c which is in the bedroom and no a/c in lounge area or kitchen making it very hot and uncomfortable at this time of the year, perhaps a portable fan could be obtained?. The location of this accommodation is the reason we keep staying here when in Manila. Nearby 7-11 / Robinsons mall / restaurants-bars/etc.

John Mon 31/12/2016 13:37I / we have stayed here a few times in recent years. This time we stayed overnight in manila due to plane arriving late. The management of the suites has changed and appear to be doing what they can to improve the standards, and the reputation of the accommodation, they have started renovating all rooms / suites and consequently there is a dual price scale one for renovated rooms, and one for original. In our night we were changed to a renovated room due to shower not working in our assigned room, with no problems with reception staff. still only one elevator in operation so some waiting at times. The breakfast is included and is served in a nearby cafe.
Worse customer service I have ever seen in 50 years of traveling the world
Ronnie Don 25/10/2016 15:44This hotel is one of the worse if not the very worse when it comes to customer service. It started when I made the reservations and tried to pay online. They would not allow me to prepay for my wife’s visit, and told me to go thru Expedia if I wanted to prepay which I did with no hassles at all. When I inquired about internet access, which is needed to maintain our business, I was informed there was in every room. Upon checking in my wife found the front desk personnel rude and uncaring. Every interaction we had was the same and only got worse the longer we stayed there. The internet never did work and there was always an excuse or alibi as to why and it changed from day to day and from person to person. Yes, they was a signal but no access, never was access for the whole visit. I fully understand why hotels require a deposit due to unruly guest and damages that occur, however to try withhold that deposit while they wanted to us to pay for every scratch or paint peeling in the room. It was such a scam to keep the whole deposit for themselves and to find ways to charge us for things we never even used such as transportation to airport, trip to shopping center and for breakfast which was stated it was included in the room. Again I fully recommend that until the entire management system has been replaced STAY AWAY from this hotel!!!
Not worth the price

Non-smoking room, clean and newly renovated but bed blankies were untidy.
I initially reserved the Studio Room online not knowing that it was a smoking room. I had to upgrade when I got there because of my asthma, and was with new born and 8yr old daughter. I had to add PhP1,500 please be advised that they have PhP2,000 deposit which I got back when I checked out. A/C was a little too loud even on the "quiet cool" mode, add up the traffic noise. Only reason why I stayed here is because I don't have to take a cab to get to the Embassy, carrying a newborn and draggin' my 8 yr old made it a little easy being just across the street for our 7am appt.
