Great location, room takes a bit of getting used to
Billy Won 15/08/2017 20:52This is in a great location. Like anywhere central in Croatia in summer there is going to be music on the streets until the early hours.
The hotel is well organised but you need to be used to the pods to appreciate how to work it and not disturb your roommates. My roommates debated at length in French and searched the entire room and were turning on and off lights all night. They even managed to turn on my light in the middle of the night waking me up.
The key card is great and the bathroom is clean and there is a good shower. Space to move around the beds is very limited but the secure area under the bed is a neat touch and seems secure enough to leave important but not too valuable things.
The bed is a pod like device but its big enough and has a mirror, a light and somewhere to charge your phone.
Its fine for one night. I think any more would drive your crazy
Great location and design
ajacknovaon 14/08/2017 09:42Stayed there for 3 days and definitely loved the location (right in the old city center) and design of the rooms. We stayed in the 4-people room, even though there was not much space in the room, it still was comfortable and cozy. The personal is really friendly.
Perfect!
Hooleyson 12/08/2017 14:58Right in the centre of the old town, with fantastic views across the Forum to the sea. We stayed 10 days, the room was clean, beds comfortable, fluffy towels, a/c necessary in the heat wave! They put our family in 2 adjacent twin rooms, we pushed our beds together, the kids separated theirs; the doors between the 2 rooms were really useful. Buffet breakfast suited a growing teenage boy and a mum on a diet and a veggie daughter. Really friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are compact, but plenty of storage space for clothes, enough plugs for all our electronic kit, small fridge. We went swimming every evening off the pier, about 2 min walk from the hotel. Sometimes brought street food back and ate in the kitchenette, sometimes sat out in the courtyard and chatted. Double glazing means the rooms are quiet, tho one evening we were serenaded to sleep by a concert in the forum (still was only background noise). Had a ring side seat from our room for the fireworks at midnight on 5th August! Didn't see a lift, and the transfer bus dropped us off outside the walls (about 5 min flat walk), but I've walked further in an airport. Transfer to airport was about 20 min. They arranged a trip to Plitvice lakes for us, all well organised. Restaurant recommendations were good, too. It is a hostel, so don't expect luxury, but the basics done really well and with style. All we need now is an excuse to go back again...
Great staff, best location!
LzElzbthon 06/08/2017 21:49If you are looking for an affordable hostel in Zadar this is a great choice. Wonderful location in old town, with a view over the square and the sea. The staff is all friendly and helpful and the hostel itself is well-equipped, clean and has a small terrace full with flowers. The dorms are small, but you can get privacy by folding down curtains around your bed. I really recommend this place!
Great Hostel
Sophia_Franceson 04/08/2017 00:28The hostel is SO clean, and the beds very comfy and private. The bathroom facilities really nice and the rooms have Aircon too. The location is perfect- very central. The staff were really nice and helpful. The hostel has quite thin walls so you can hear people in the halls sometimes but on the whole I would definitely recommend staying here.
