Charming boutique hotel
Wanderer59-11on 20/03/2017 21:31Really enjoyed our recent short stay at this charming small hotel.Service was excellent from the moment we arrived.There is a very good restaurant on site,the food was excellent- including an amazing selection of breads including one flavoured with squid ink ! This was the best meal we had during our time in Switzerland.The breakfast was also great- eggs cooked to order ,great Bircher Muesli and home made jams.The room we had was large and light, had a minibar with soft drinks and an Nespresso machine.Would definitely return if back in Ticino!
A piece of old italian art in the middle of the old town of Locarno
lambmari93on 10/12/2016 21:33Very nice and clean hotel, confortable and quiet location but very close to the city centre as well as the lake seaside; since we come from Italy, we have appreciated the excellent preservation of some ancient pieces of furniture !! Good breakfast, fresh bread but unfortunately no handmade cakes ....

Maria Kon 03/10/2016 10:47Definitely better than an average 3 stars hotel, I would say - at least 4. Very friendly staff. We were late for breakfast and still were served coffee, bread and croissants, jams, yogurts etc. Really very nice and accommodating employees. We had a room at the top attic floor, it was very cozy and clean. No view (windows in the roof) but very bright. They have a very nice "inside" garden at the breakfast area and lobby.

Modern and Friendly
Jim Mon 06/08/2016 12:32A small, but really nice hotel. Run by a husband and wife team, he is the chef in the restaurant. Nice clean, modern room, excellent breakfast with a selection of bread, fruit and make your own cereal. Scrambled egg and bacon made to order. And the gourmet restaurant is worth a visit too.

Don Kon 23/05/2015 08:49Very nice hotel with good location near old town. Parking is a bit tricky so need to make sure you get good instructions before you head there. Was nicest room we had in Switzerland. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Raining first night we arrived so had dinner in the hotel and was very good.
