What People are saying

Boya just plain bad for ya

Edwin Son 27/06/2017 12:23

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, in two separate rooms. Outside of the overall poor cleaning in room number one, there was an access panel cut into the wall in room number two, held in place with a drywall screw. The room never cooled down as a result since outside air seeped through.

WiFi is good, but use at your own risk as password is your room number.

The check in/check out process was, in a word, painful. On returning to Beijing our group had an over/under bet of 20 minutes, Almost all took the over and won. We had a translator with us, and pre-copied sheets of our passports and that did not help.

Other cleanliness issues included; dust an inch thick under the dresser, mold in the mini frig, stained carpet in the hallways and rooms, torn pillowcase, stained bed skirt, and worn or missing molding.
Cleaning staff is also up early and they are not quiet. Upon checkout they were also in our rooms before we had retrieved our luggage and personal items.
If I could mention one positive the 24 hour convenience store in tower B, was an oasis in a desert of despair.

As mentioned many times in reviews, you get what you pay for, however in this case my advice would be to pay $10 extra and stay anywhere but the Boya.

One night stay...comfortable

Good experience, clean, comfortable, one block from subway, and plenty of food options nearby. The only ignoring thing was the coffee shop outside the lobby wasn't open in the morning. The convenience store outside the lobby was open late into the night which was great with our late arrival

Good location, but needs international quality standards...

Soliloquieson 23/05/2015 05:45

It is an ok hotel. Has a lot of potential, but like many other places in China, it did not reach the minimum quality standards. First impression is good, but if you start looking at details, you may be scared. I've been to this hotel many times (not my choice) and all the rooms I stayed were not very clean... but I really got scared when looked under the bed... looks like they never really cleaned there! Really scary. You can find better and more international options in the area for the same price.

Basic Hotel

This is just a basic hotel. Stayed here during company trip. Clean & Spacious. We had twin room. Breakfast was so so. Can't expect much when you are paying 400yuan per night. Wifi just in the lobby... Near carefour, macdonalds.. can't find halal food!

The Basics are not There.

We got to the hotel late at night and we were told that they ran out of hotel keys and we would be escorted to our rooms and would be given keys in the morning. What large hotel doesn't even have enough key cards? We were taken to our room and asked to wait in the hall. We waited 20 mins when a housekeeper came running to let us in. The first thing I saw were two cups on the side table and I looked over and one of the beds were not made. The housekeeper proceeded to clean up the cups and strip the bed in front of us. It was 10pm. Check out is around noon in hotels and the room wasn't cleaned till night? After 16 hours on a plane, I don't want to wait for my room to be cleaned in front of me when all I want to do is sleep. I would not have been so angered by the situation if the front desk was up front and said the room was accidentally missed getting cleaned and if we would wait in the lobby a little longer, while it gets done. The next morning, I spoke to another guest who was checking out that they didn't get keys either. The minimum I expect from any hotel or motel I go to in any country is to be given a key and the room to be clean when I first check in. Neither happened here.
