Guest Rooms very basic
SR22on 05/06/2017 18:46We stayed in a King guest room, not a suite. Each building is set up with four king guest rooms in a building, sharing a common living/dining area. The rooms are extremely basic (their website photos are accurate). Housekeeping is only provided every third day. It seems like the setup is for a foursome of golfers. Bathrooms are small and steamy, not so good for a couple sharing. Loved the food at this resort, free parking, workout facility and pool. Next time we'll stay in a suite, though. The golf is incredible!
Wonderful experience!
ljjohn1234on 01/06/2017 00:33Brasada Ranch is located about 20-25 miles outside of Bend. It is a lovely drive to get there and once there you won't want to leave. The property is sprawling and beautiful with two restaurants, a spa, tennis courts, sand volleyball, trail rides, and a beautiful pool and hot tub area. We stayed in a large three bedroom cabin. It's not cheap, but our cabin cost about what it would cost to rent two hotel rooms. Dinner at the Ranch House was very good, and we had fun cooking s'mores on the deck afterward. Nothing at the Brasada is cheap but it's a real treat.
Dreamy location
tifferjohnsonon 31/05/2017 23:04Stayed three nights in a two bedroom cabin. Had a view of one of the golf holes. Super private and quiet cabin. Appreciated the coveted parking. Cabin was nicely done and was perfect for our use. Pool and activity center is great! Could stand to be a touch larger considering a sold out weekend. Ate dinner once at the Range (fancier of two options). Didn't think the food was that great especially for the price. Thought the kid menu was fairly limited all things considered. The views from the facility are just amazing! Everywhere you look you can see snow covered mountains or horses or an amazing sunset! The have a "resort fee" they add per night which I think is silly especially when if you want to rent a bike or golf cart or go horse back riding, you pay extra. I would appreciate just rolling that into the nightly rate and have it first come, first serve. Also you pay extra for a private hot tub. Overall it's a fantastic place! Just a few annoying things. Would love to visit again.
Outstanding location with great service
foodsterPortlandon 29/05/2017 22:50My fiancé and I just returned from our first stay at the Brasada Ranch. It was a surprise birthday gift for me. Our room, on the top floor of the Ranch House, was spacious, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The views to the West of the cascade range were exquisite. The balcony was great, with a gas fireplace with both indoor and outdoor access. The bathroom was large with a nice shower and a huge soaker tub. Rooms on the top floor also had access to a private hot tub, also with views to the mountains.
The dining at the Ranch House and the Range restaurant was excellent. Service was great and the food was exceptionally well prepared. Even though the Range had just opened for the season, we couldn't tell as everything went like clockwork. We ate both indoors and outdoors. Both were lovely.
The pool and recreation area was first rate. There was a nice workout area that was reasonably well equipped. The indoor and outdoor pools were heated nicely. Poolside service for drinks and food was attentive and much appreciated.
We brought our bikes and rode through the beautiful development. Bike trails were well marked and streets had little traffic. Paving was smooth and well maintained. There is a moderate amount of climbing but the views were definitely worth it!
All in all, we had a fantastic time and would definitely consider returning again.
Wonderful Stay
triplescoopmomon 28/05/2017 23:18Our entire family had a great time! My children enjoyed the Hideout and the basketball court. We loved the indoor pool. The spa on our cabin patio was the best!
The fireplace in the cabin was amazing! It heated the entire cabin! I can't believe how much heat came out.
My boys rented bikes and rode around the resort. That was their favorite activity.
