Afternoon Meal

Dropped in while visiting the town. Ordered food and a drink. Food was pretty average nothing to write home about, reminded me of Wetherspoons food but a bit more expensive. Okay if you just want something to fill a hole. Order at the bar, no table service.

Stayed with family and small dog
Room very clean and big.
breakfast good, great staff
we ate in the evening food good
made to feel welcome especially the karaoke our daughter sang a few times and had fun

big room very clean on arrival told breakfast was 7 to 9 then asked for time we would be down for it felt rushed when eating it we were told constantly by girl who served us she was working on her on till 10 o'clock and the place empty asked if we could have breakfast later on Sunday she ask what time we said about 10 she said ok but you could tell she not happy we came down at 9 15 she was funny about where we sat all cereal put away bit funny as I ask her to get me some as yet again she constantly moaning she on her own till 10 o'clock and it was not busy breakfast very greasy this is why I ask for cereal should have gone Whetherspoons for breakfast cheaper and nicer and 2 minute walk away room good value and spotless clean bit noise as have disco.

I often visit for breakfast. Normally it's of a good standard. However lately it's been sub standard. Shame cause now I will have to find a new place to eat. But overall the place is clean and tidy with very friendly staff shame about the food now. Maybe a new cook ?

Stayed 1 night as attending an Anniversary Party in March. Room comfortable and good. We were warned about the Karaoke until midnight & the Disco until 2am - even with the Earplugs supplied, no chance of any sleep through this. However Breakfast 'ends' at 9am!!! so a very short night. We were told this is because they 'have to open the doors to the Public at 9am'. Maybe ok during the week but avoid at weekends.
