New owners run a pig sty & shocked this has passed ANY State inspection of any kind.
becca796on 05/06/2017 17:43Staying there was like the TV show "survivor". The wiring was hanging down, smoke alarm found in a dresser draw, room picture sitting on floor, Now let me share the odor of stale smoke even though this was a no smoking room. The carpet needs burned along with the curtains and . The roaches, gnats, ants....GROSS. all this needs is sprayed on a regular schedule. The cleaning staff is the only highlight to this miserable dump (seasoned employees doing their best). The office staff (1) appears as if they walked out of the dump (comment from front desk when sharing our concerns...heh it is better than working fast food). The owner needs to be shut down, seriously, what Mississippi or Amory inspection was completed? DO NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY -CAMPING IN A TENT WOULD BE BETTER.

The room was fine, I was on the 2nd floor and each day I walked up and down the stairs I had to walk by trash and chicken bones that was overflowing. It stayed this way for 3 days! The rooms need to be updated badly. What upset the most was trying to get a receit for my stay. When I checked out there computer was down, and told me they would email it to me...I've been trying to get this now for 5 days! They said they would fax it on the 5th day...It never came, when I called back...well their fax machine is not working. Now I'm down to them mailing me a copy. I have to have these receits for my company expenses, so I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER WITH THIS HOTEL!!!

Marcusnakon 29/02/2016 00:56The hotel is a dated facility although the front desk help was very helpful and accommodating. Our room was nothing to be excited about but was comfortable and served our needs. Needed a bit of updating and the facility has a railroad contract so there were people coming and going all night long (and we could hear very easily). There are other options in the city you might want to try before coming here but the rooms were clean and appropriately priced.

just_askmon 17/10/2014 22:18Rooms are nasty and stinky.reading the other reviews they must have paid them to give them a good review. Worst motel ever. Dont waster your money here. The staff is nice but that is like day and night when it comes to the rooms.

Jessicalamb2on 18/06/2014 21:33I excepted the worse with such a small town. the room itself is nice, as well as the staff. I did find a lady bug on my bathroom rug. Guess that means this is a good luck place? the ac was already on before we got in so the room was nice and cool. They also let us check in early.
