We got married here on 11/08/2017 and we must say the whole experience was brilliant from the moment we booked our wedding until the wedding ended.. the staff couldn't do anymore for u and were very polite and helpful. I would like to personal thank Jack ( bar staff) he couldn't of been any more help and nothing was to much effort for him, he was such a pleasure to talk to he was amazing. Thank you Stacey , Sam and Andrew (events team) all of them had made the experience stress/hassle free, again nothing was to much effort for them.. Andrew was there every step of the way through out the wedding and he was amazing.

Thank u once again to u all.

Lovely Hotel, Wonderful Staff

We stayed at Bridgewood Manor last week, Sunday to Thursday as part of a coach holiday (Harris Coaches, Bromsgrove).Friendly staff, nice rooms and good food. We were surprised to find that we had been allocated a disabled persons room. However ,this turned out to be a blessing as I was taken ill in the early hours of Thursday morning, passed out in the bathroom and inadvertently activated the alarm. The duty manager arrived. woke my wife and was excellent in helping her o make me comfortable while waiting for the Paramedics to arrive. He arranged for housekeeping to finish our packing while we went to the Hospital.A room was made available on our return to enable us to change and get ready to depart on our coach. A big thank you to everyone involved in helping us at what was a upsetting time.

Our Bridgewood experience...

Rated as a 4 star hotel! Oh dear... Having to pass thru a wedding party to get to reception on arrival I knew this stay was going to be interesting. On getting to the room which looked ok, you then start to notice the hotel is tired and in need of some money being spent on it. The room had a stainless steel four poster bed with with no netting or anything, so why is it there? The headboard had two big holes in it, the curtains were ill fitting, the toilet was cracked, bathroom door damaged, no flannels either, and no room safe. The hotel has a large central external area for guests to relax in which is meant to be closed at 10-30pm so not to disturb guests! Funny that, considering there were people outside your bedroom window until the early hours, not conducive to a good nights sleep. I did try to complain at 3am on Sunday morning but could not raise any staff members on the phone!! Both nights we stayed we were disturbed by the fire alarm going off and on our second night there was another wedding and an 18th birthday party to contend with. The service in the restaurant is slow and the breakfast is average quality at best. The spa is very tired, with a sauna that is warm at best, and a steam room that fits four people unless you take the chance and sit on the end seats and get your legs burnt by the steam input. The pool seating looks like it's come from a carboot sale. The spa entrance looks good until you take a closer look then you notice the torn curtains and the music on repeat with a very annoying clicking noise wherever you are....
Good luck also if your room is near the lifts!! The constant noise when they are used will keep you awake....

Staff are a credit to this hotel

We stayed at Bridgewood Manor on a travel zoo deal.
We found all the staff to be super friendly and helpful.
We ate in the restaurant on the first evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Breakfast was also great, especially the delicious mushrooms!
I have to say our room (25) was rather dated and would benefit from some tlc. We stayed on the ground floor as we had our dog with us.
Also the tv would be better to view if it was mounted on the wall.
All in all though, a great stay!
