896judeon 28/08/2017 14:38The floor moved when you walked on it Gary there was a floorboard missing under the carpet the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and it was up 4 floors no lift really steep stairs if you tripped you would be dead lol
very expensive too for a dump

Like a lot of the smaller "hotels" in Brighton there aren't really any public spaces and the rooms are small but functional.
If all you need - like me - is somewhere to sleep, have a shower, and keep your stuff safe then it's fine. If you want mod cons and airs and graces go somewhere else
Contrary to some reports I found the owner polite and helpful
An excellent seaside hotel
Matthew Hon 17/08/2017 09:27The hotel is located up a street from Brighton's iconic pebble seaside and the Brighton Palace Pier is only a 10 to 15 minute walk. The main town to Churchill Square is about a 20 minute walk. Ideally located. A unique key for main front door and door for your room. I was in Room 18 (single bed) which overlooked the street but could stick your head out the window and see the sea 🙂
cheap but not cheerful
jason hon 12/06/2017 17:54cheap guest house, cant even call it a b and b as they don't do breakfast which I thought was unusual. Its in a part of Brighton away from the town centre but only a 10 minute bus ride into town which isn't too bad. Check in was very quick and easy but after that I didn't see the owner at all. I used to live in Brighton and was visiting so I knew where things were but if you didn't then there was no one to ask. Room was very small and I couldn't open the window on what was a boiling hot day. Room got very hot and stuffy at night. No room even for a fan and no air con.It was clean and tidy but very small room and minimal.It was cheap and whilst not terrible you get what you pay for
Clean and Friendly
Tom Son 09/06/2017 17:05A small unassuming hotel not far from the centre of town, where we received a friendly reception and the prices were reasonable.
No food, however. If you want breakfast then you need to go and hunt for it. The room was small, but big enough for me and the facilities where clean, if a bit dated.
All I needed was a place to lay my head of an evening, however and the establishment served that purpose with no complaints.
