What People are saying

Nice Location, Horrible Service

deketeleon 18/06/2017 19:54

One cannot beat the scenery, the golf course, or the accomodations. However the availability of amenities, considering that this is a resort, is perplexing. If you stay at the lodge and plan on breakfast before a round of morning golf, look elsewhere. They clain to have breakfast available in a pro shop cafe, yet the offerings are pathetic and largely always out. Check your billing detail before checking out ! And if you need to communucate with them don't plan on a web site that works. Consider staying locally but booking and playing at Bristol. They do have a great golf course.

Wedding

We recently held our daughters wedding here and it was a wonderful experience.
The lodge recently was acquired by new owners and they have invested well in upgrading the property. Last year when we booked the rooms were definitely in need of TLC. This was done. We had a total of about 50 people staying and they were all very happy.
The wedding day itself was well organized and everything went smoothly. Weathers was a bit uncertain and the chairs were not set up outside until about 1 hour before. Fortunately the rain held off and the location of the ceremony was perfect.
The food at the wedding was also very well prepared and served.
In all honesty I would be hard pressed to find anything negative to say about our experience and will certainly recommend them. I already have!
Thank you.

Disappointment with a view

Kathy Son 29/05/2017 01:20

We went to the Lodge on a Sunday at 5:30pm with another couple for drinks and a light dinner. After telling us they are no tables available until 8pm we then headed to the bar to get a drink and sat by the outside fire pit. When leaving at 7:00 we noticed 12 tables on the patio free. After speaking to the manager he said they follow the system and it said they had no tables. Very disappointed on the service and will not hurry back. Once again the service has not changed

Great golf course and staff but unfriendly policies

Peter Don 01/05/2017 18:08

Just finished a three day trip to this club to golf with buddies. We have been doing this annually for many years. Very disappointed with the policies that the new owners have put in place. It seems that they don't really want golfers to vacation there but are focused on weddings. If your looking for a location for a golf buddies trip, look elsewhere.

Not the same

The resort changed owners since last year. We have been going to this resort every spring for almost 30 years for A large goof tournament with 90 plus people spending lots of money to be there and this year we were met with nothing but disrespect. They didn't notify us that we couldn't pay cash before we got there, so as Canadians that brought mostly cash, we were forced to use credit cards. Expensive! We paid for meals and were unable to eat because the meals were timed and taken away before we were done. We interacted with the owner several times and he has no idea what real customer service is!! Will never go back!!! Disgusted!
