A good 3* hotel
JMG780on 04/10/2016 19:38Unpretentious yet decorated with much care, this is a comfortable business hotel for a night stop.
Good quality bedding for the standard, breakfast buffet is well stocked with Expresso coffee option available.
Staff pleasant and professional
Only ate at the restaurant - worth the trip!
FoxValleyGalon 18/06/2014 17:33We drove around Normandy looking for a place to eat on a Thursday night, and saw the sign "Brit Hotel" so parked in there. The restaurant was empty when we got there (we were eating early), and we were afraid that it was just one of those "breakfast rooms" that you encounter nowadays in hotels. But no!
Hostess and waiter were great. Very pleasantly surprised by the menu, which had a good selection. The food was the best dinner I ate in Normandy! I had the scallops with mashed potatoes (seemed an odd combination); and the scallops tasted so fresh as if they had just been pulled out of the sea minutes before they were cooked. My daughter and husband both had lamb, which was also excellent. Creme Brûlée for dessert, also very well prepared. We drank the house wine, which was good.
Don't know much else about the hotel proper - but lobby was bright & clean. Public restrooms were very clean. Nice parking lot.
Sixth night of our group cycling holiday
Mothmithon 29/07/2013 21:33Eleven of us stayed in six rooms for the sixth night of our group cycling holiday. A small newish chain hotel but of very high standard all round. Very well appointed rooms although design of our bathroom was somewhat bizarre. As we were a good way out of town we decided to stay for a meal. A good decision as the food and wine were excellent far above expectations for the type of hotel. Breakfast was also very good.
Excellent rooms but no hairdryers !
No specific space for our bicycles, some got inside under the stairs but rest outside. Site was fairly secure though.
Clean and convenient
foodieflyeron 19/06/2013 11:16This hotel has (for us) the advantage of being just a short walk from the airfield at Lessay. No doubt a call on landing would elicit the offer of transportation. Rooms were clean and of a reasonable size for this standard of hotel, with decor more befitting a larger chain hotel. A good night's sleep in a quiet room and a reasonably sized bathroom to boot. The evening meal was excellent value while being nothing exceptional. Breakfast was a little disappointing - we arrived towards the end of the service (30 minutes before) but found no glasses, cups, spoons, coffee or bread without requesting these from the waitress, more interested in eating her own breakfast behind the bar (cf comment from previous reviewer in French).
