Pleasant surroundings

I came as part of a big group. Three of us shared an apartment, but with only one key supplied it was too difficult to leave it locked. Friendly staff and very pleasant surroundings, with a river walk not far away. The kitchen was well supplied but curiously did not have a kettle nor toaster. The breakfast supplied was disappointing with only cornflakes, a little yoghurt and bread that could be toasted, as well as butter, jam and honey and some juice. Some fruit, muesli and gluten free alternatives a would be good.

Good

Very friendly staff. They make you feel welcome and at home.

Due to circumstances we made changes to our reservation twice. It was no problem and they didn't charge us for it.

We checked out before breakfast opened and the owner organized some croissants to take with us. Again, at no cost.

Lot's to do and see in the region.

I wouldn´t recommend this place to anyone

The staff is friendly but the rooms are too cold, humid and claustrophobic. Not cozy at all. The floor beneath the bare feet is very cold and somehow sticky. The lock on the door of our room was broken and the toilet seat was also broken. The elevator wasn´t functioning well. The breakfast is extremely expensive and simpleton. Giving an example, I stayed at a 4 star hotel in Aix-en-Provence, with better breakfast and it was cheaper. I wouldn´t recommend this place to anyone.
