Excellent Breakfast!

I stayed at the Brit Hotel for 3 nights during a business trip. Checkin/Checkout was fast fast and problem free. All staff was very friendly and attentive.

My room was clean, modern and had enough space. Bed was comfortable. Big flatscreen TV for those who use it. Bathroom with a nice towel heating and a nice shower with good water pressure.

Breakfast was really outstanding at this hotel with so many things, sweet and salty, to choose from. I enjoyed this a lot and for me this is a reason to stay here the next time when I am in this area. Highlight is the fresh orange juice machine. Never have seen this anywhere else before.

Location is convenient too. Close to the main road and just a few minutes by car to the Airport. A rail station is in a very short walking distance.

There are just two things I didn't like that much. First was the heating in the room which was not working that fine during my stay. I didn't figure out if there was something I could do, like a setting on the control unit or so, but it was a bit cold all the time. (I have to mention that I didn't ask the stuff for help, though). Second thing are the thin walls, which are obviously badly soundproofed. It's not always too nice to hear what's going on the rooms beside your own.

Anyway, above all was the breakfast which makes me consider the Brit as a very good hotel :-)

This hotel is good to get by. The butt crack in the bed is not fun. But I guess it's European thing. Just not fun cuddling with your hubs. We didn't eat breakfast. Got something good for 20€ in the city that was super yummy. Nothing bad and nothing amazing about it.

Nice friendly staff on arrival. It is on a very noisy road, but the double glazing does it's job. I had dinner in the restaurant which was a bit heavy, but that was perhaps just my choice. I had a squash cappuccino for starters which had a huge amount of whipped cream on it. It was a very odd dish with thick slices of raw carrot and cold toast only toasted on one side.
The rooms were good, but a little shabby round the edges. I would never pay the 92€ posted outside. It is really a 50€ hotel.

Good when it's finished...

Stayed for one night at The Brit Toulouse. Brand new; in fact it's still being built (or upgraded?) as I write.
Positives..Nice and clean and quiet until workmen started drilling at 7.45 am.Very reasonable rates. Right across the street from a rail station. Friendly staff.
Negatives..Out of the way a bit. Trains and buses seem to stop running around 10 pm. and taxis are horrendously priced in Toulouse. Good place if you've got your own car. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. The scramble egg was a bit dried up, sausages a rather vivid pink but the bread was fresh as was the orange juice.

Friendly, compact rooms, dinner far better than expected.

Stayed for three nights for a conference agree with others the rooms are small they are clean and the showers are spacious and good. With triple glazed windows there is no disturbance from the road/ The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but sufficient and dishes and choices were kept replenished, even though it was busy. We ate one evening and the food was very good,
Convienient for the train station, though not so helpful for us as there was industrial action by train staff and the service was unreliable.
