This hotel is in a lovely location and sits in pretty grounds overlooking the ocean in the distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a room overlooking the front of the property, room was clean and tidy and met expectations with regards to the standard of hotel. There were some cheap fixes such as a very tacky bathroom door bolt which didn't work and sloppy finishing of some areas. Bed was comfortable but pillows far too soft and only one each. The shared rooms in the hotel were just OK with some thought and re design could be made to look more special and homely. A lot of money has been spent on a glamping facility in the grounds which looked fun and will no doubt add to its attraction. The bad bit for me was the dinner which was dire, nothing is actually cooked from fresh, it's bought in food heated and plated, this is the norm for a lot of places, but when you see the prices charged it is poor value for money and quality was bad. Breakfeast was good with efficient service, cooked and presented to a good standard. Cereals were poorly presented on a very small table with no fruit, yogurt or pastries.To be fair to this hotel we went to look at all the restaurants in Laugharne and got the impression that at best most places offered pretty basic fair, yet were charging excessive prices. I would stay here again on a bed and breakfeast basis only because of the location,good parking, reasonable cost and friendly staff, but I would not eat at restaurant.

This is a fantastic place which my son used for his wedding.We had the whole hote for just wedding guests.This place has a ramp and also all of downstairs to al rooms are on one level so brilliant if you are disabled or using a wheelchair.The staff are very friendly and helpful.It was a fantastic day/night and next morning.The food was great.I would def recommend this fantastic hidden place for any occassionThey have just added 5 camping pods which look amazing

Came here for a wedding, didn't stay the night but what a stunning place! I had never been here before but was really impressed and as the weather was so lovely my relatives were able to marry outside! What a beautiful day!

Excellent with a family feel

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights last weekend - booked the family room which was perfect. I normally stay in places with spa/pool etc and I missed none of it. I said to the staff that I had been converted to the smaller more personal hotel. It was in idyllic settings and the new glamping pods which ( I think there will be 10) in a few weeks are such a clever and novel idea. I lay outside the hotel all day yesterday on Fathers Day In the beautiful weather in lovely surroundings. I think that this hotel will get better and better. Only downside was we couldn't eat on Sunday evening- but realise this is a lovely big house and they need time off. I have never been to Wales before- but this hotel met all our needs. The gardener who works non-stop keeps the grounds in pristine condition. Families, couples, get-together-this is hotel/country house for you. Beautiful area and close to amenities but Pendine was not for us- which is a taxi ride away. We were on tight schedule so it was last decision to go there but lovely beach but that's about it. Had meal in hotel on Friday- lovely meal, lovely chatty waitress who wasn't in a rush. these type of places are more personal, it's not 5 star but it's certainly not far off it. The glamping pods are brillant- I want one! Thank you -we will be back and I hope this Trip Advisor positive comments will recommend that this hotel/country house will definitely meet all your needs.

We stayed for one night at Broadway Country House Hotel dropping in on the off chance that they may have a room available.
We were offered the choice of three! Opted for the standard double which was only £75.
The room was clean, bright and freshly decorated as was The bathroom.
The breakfast was huge, lots of choice and lovely fresh produce.
We would definitely return, when in the area again
