Trip or the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

We have been to the Fringe for several years and although the location was a little bit further out, it was still in walking distance o the aim venues and a lot quieter late at night which was a bonus. Good value for money at an expensive time for Edinburgh.

Ingo46on 09/08/2017 11:41Very convenient to Old & New Town by bus, tram or foot (easy mile walk either way---safe). Great front desk staff, helpful on parking options and good local restaurants. Comfortable room, good breakfast.
Edinburgh fringe visit
Jason_Scotland1980on 06/08/2017 14:05Highly recommend Brooks Hotel me and partner stayed for one night. We arrived early and managed to store our cases before check in time of 2pm. Once we checked in later on in evening, receptionist was very professional and informed us of layout and breakfast option. Interiors are warm and well styled. Our room was 310 and has a large walk in shower. Bed was very comfortable and both slept well. In morning we went for breakfast and had full Scottish breakfast, really nicely cooked and presented. Staff on breakfast shift were polite and attentive. For value, service and location I would say Brooks Hotel is hard to beat compared to where I've been in Edinburgh before. Well done.
Nice Hotel near of Old Town
skadi77on 05/08/2017 11:35We stayed 3 nights at the Brooks Hotel and slept very well. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Bath towels were provided, but unfortunately no small towels for the hands. We then bought it and then it was perfect ;-) From the hotel to the railway station it is only 10-15 minutes walk and by train only one station to the Princess Street, where you can see e.g. the Edinburgh Castle, the museums and the Royal Mile for shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Brooks Hotel, the check in and check out was uncomplicated, and the restroom with a well stocked bar we liked.
Great place to stay
tonynewtownon 02/08/2017 22:22I stayed only two nights but found the hotel very comfortable,the staff very friendly and accomodating and the lounge with a honestly bar open all hours was great.Its location is good with a comfortable walk to most things and the bus close and a short 15 minute walk to the station. If I come back to Edinburgh again would definitely stay there again.
