Breakfast serving diabolical

Stay was a stop over before a morning channel crossing. Wanted to feed the troops before we set off. The lad they had serving was a drip. Told us that it'd be a push to get us served in 30 minutes. Then proceeded to serve later arrivals.

Lodgings them selves are ok. Could have done with an extra cream or two for the morning coffee though.

All in all a reasonable, if brief stay. Don't bother with stopping for breakfast though.

Lovely out of the way spot

We had a lovely week in one of the cabins, more than suitable for a family of 5. Facilities are good with a restaurant, kids games room, swimming pool, spa and gym plus the golf course. great location close to a major road and close to supermarkets in Dover or Folkstone.

Visit our villa in the kitchen garden every year in early May (Regency Villas). Nice grounds and beautiful surrounding countryside. Main house has a good restaurant, bar indoor pool and beauty Saloon. Golf course well kept and challenging with several blind shots and fairways on the side of a valley. Answers are based on the Villas not the main house

Pleasant 3 night stay

Invited to join friends for 3 nights at this resort. Stayed in large 2 bedroom apartment, The Cranbourne, in the main house. Windows overlooked the 18th green of the golf course. The many golfers provided plenty of amusement. Bedrooms are large with comfy beds and en suite bathrooms. Comfortable lounge with plenty of seating, fridge, microwave etc. TV, Sky HD, and DVD player. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pretty good bar and restaurant in the main house. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay, and close to many local attractions. Canterbury Cathedral and Howletts zoo are not far away. Really enjoyed our stay. Apparently the estate is up for sale by Diamond Resorts, so don't know how much longer it will be available.

Total relaxation!!!

Highly recommend a stay here. The lodge was of a very high standard, immaculately clean very spacious! All mod cons and a great instruction manual on how to work everything! Will definitely book again. My only criticisms were the beds were very hard and the showers lacked power. But they were minor things. Absolute must stay !
