not worth the hype
Jean Jon 28/08/2017 07:50i feel it is not worth the money and it is overpriced... the rooms are old fashioned...but stay was k...the lobby is good ol fashioned...staff were not great...overall not amazing just good...the rooms need to be maintained more...they seem a lil old and tarnished...

manojayyappanon 21/08/2017 06:58Visited brunton boat yard with friends for a few hours, and must say that we were all pretty impressed with the ambience, the location and the staff. A superb heritage resort. Had some superb cocktails from their armoury.

The chef arranged a salad as a starter while we were waiting for our food to arrive.The food was really amazing.So was the presentation.The quantity is good for two people unless you are extremely hungry 😀
Excellent location - sea facing suite is very comfortable
pallavi mon 06/08/2017 11:22We took the sea facing suite - very well done, comfortable and great views from the balcony. It has a huge bedroom and a living room, powder room and small kitchenette. The service was nice and we had a great stay here! Thanks to the hotel staff for making our weekend break a truly refreshing one!
Best Hotel In Cochin
Diane Don 30/07/2017 02:30I visited Cochin 10 years ago and said to myself if I ever come back to Cochin I am staying at the Brunton Boatyard. Well I am back and I was not disappointed. as soon as you arrive you are made to feel like a valued guest. We were greeted by a gorgeous young lady with a flower garland for each of us. We were then taken into the beautiful old world reception area and given a cool drink as we were checked in.
Our room was beautiful and spacious with a separate entrance area. The bed is large and very comfortable. The bathroom has a large deep bath and a shower big enough for two or more people. The view from our room is the vest view in Cochin. The position of the hotel is also in the middle of the action, shops bars , beach and St Thomas cathedral.
We also dined in the restaurant and I was most impressed with the menu.. the meals we ordered were presented beautifully and as good as any five star restaurant we would eat in any where in the world. They serve a wide range of delicious wine made in India and I have to say we really enjoyed the Sulo Chenin Blanc. I work in the wine Industry and can recommend you try the wines.
The restaurant staff are very attentive so I give the service 5 stars. We generously tipped the staff to show our appreciation. I cannot fault this beautiful hotel and in fact after our two days on a houseboat on the backwaters of Kerala we are coming.back to enjoy the hospitality and service all over again.
