Richard Gon 27/05/2014 18:15Having read several reviews of this hotel before my trip, I'm happy to report that the actual facilities of the hotel seem much improved: the lifts (there are two) are normal and efficient and my room was spacious and clean -- although just one tiny bar of soap for two nights and a tiny towel seemed rather mean. My only problem was the staff. Some were smiling and helpful. On the other hand, some others were sullen, even antagonistic. The worst was the lady in the breakfast room, who seemed to resent the intrusion of guests into her life. When I pointed out that I needn't pay her for my breakfast because I'd already paid for it on my bill, she refused to believe me and it took a whole day before she admitted her error and gave me my 200 rubles back... with a reluctant and unsmiling 'Sorry'. By the way, the views from the hotel are spectacular.
