What People are saying

General store service poor

ozzieamyon 14/07/2017 01:55

Poor experience attempting to use showers at general store. Waited in line to get in bathroom to see a sign that we needed tokens to use. Went to general store to purchase tokens, stood in line again there. When approaching the counter I was not greeted, no eye contact. I had to ask twice for a shower token and the cashier never told me how much it was until I asked him. Tried asking a question about a local restaurant, he scrunched up his face and said he had no idea. He asked the guy behind him if he knew and the guy said he'd been there but never turned to look at me, nor answer the question.

The shower itself wasn't thrilling, I had the closest stall to the restrooms so my curtain kept wafting open as people went by and the water pressure kept changing every time someone flushed.

Wasn't a thrilling experience

Just OK

Stayed in Sunset Point inn. Just average room. No AC. Even though it got cool outside in the evening the room never really seemed to cool off, even with window and patio door open all night. Not sure if worth it to stay in the park unless you plan to do some nighttime activities, like astrophotography. Also, be aware if you decide to do the horseback riding through the lodge the same morning you checkout they are not flexible at all with checkout time. The morning riding tour finishes up right at 11:00 and it would've be nice to be able to stop back at room to refresh before hitting the road, but unfortunately they wont budge.

Great stay

Checked in and were assigned to the sunset inn. Great room with a balcony. During our 2 days it was very quiet and really nice. The only negative would be the limited WiFi service but we managed. Overall it was a good stay and we will return.

Great stay at Bryce!

Typical National Park Lodge- quaint rooms with a little porch- walking distance to rim of Canyon. Wonderful to walk out to rim at sunrise and sunset. Great to walk to the night ranger astronomy talk. This is why you stay in the park!

Lovely Cabin in the park

Stayed one night in a cabin at the Bryce Canyon Lodge. Despite the hot weather (mid 90s during the day) the cabin was cool at night with windows open and ceiling fan running. Beds were comfy and there was extra space to sit and play a game at the table or on the porch. A small refrigerator helped keep our water and food cool too. It was nice to be within walking distance of the canyon and not have to drive in and out. Being without wifi and tv gives you more time to enjoy your surroundings. There was even a camp store that was within walking distance for essentials (or you could drive over and park).
